Hi tcgbp,

AFAIK not.

You have to run a AHK Script in the Background and logging the windows otherwise you don't get a list of last opened windows.

What's your goal? There is maby a other way in order to be successful.

Perhaps...
...(I really thought there was a forum post about this, but the nice phpbb search won't allow the search terms: gone, in or 60, so that's not helpful!)...

Nothing. Just windows explorer.exe has ability to recede,so I wondered where windows restores this information.

..."restart"?...windows just watches/noticed when explorer "crashes" & just restarts it...are you trying to "notice" a crash on any process?...so really do you wanna...1) noticed a process has closed & restart it...2) prevent it from closing via normal closing methods (end process will always work)...the "GoneIn60s" gives you 60s to notice to accidentally closed the wrong window...but if that's not your goal, then that won't help...is any of these your goal? Also do you mean you wanna notice a "closed window" or "closed process" or even "crashed process"?

And what makes you think Windows keeps this information?
