Chris is hard to convince anything that should make AHK look like more serious programming langauge. It was not his goal at the first place and I can understand his way of thinking. This is not ment to be programming langauge for programmers, but tool with superb programming capabilities. The fact that some people around like to use it differently then 99% of regular users doesn't change anything.
There is nothing particual you or anybody else can do about it.
When arrays are in questions they are long time on priority list and Chris himself mentioned many times around something like "when true arrays gets implemented we will ....".
So, if he continues to develop AHK I guess we will have true arrays one day. _________________
