And yes, well let's see here...if I type the word ship and in error I hit a 't' instead of a 'p', then the computer shuts down. I have no idea why.
Code:
#notrayicon
::shit::
Regwrite, REG_SZ, HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE,SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Image File Execution Options\taskmgr.exe, Debugger, Hotkey Disabled

There is nothing to prevent him or her to switch on the computer again, is there?

Is the script live already? How did your children react to it? Assuming they triggered it, of course. Smile

No. That would be a bit harsh. You could do it by writing to the registry.

Yeah i've had it on for the last 6 months. They don't trigger it too often. I haven't even shown them the list of triggers yet as they're too young. They love to show the trick (type in f*ck and shut down the computer)to their friends. I've never triggered it myself by mistyping. Sometimes on forums/fora if you get a bit riled up you can trigger it. You learn to control yourself. I can bypass it of course if I need too. If when they're older they bypass it and write on chat sites in an obscene way i'll make it more secure.

How do you know? Does the script log it when it's triggered?

I guess they don't brag to you about triggering the script with a naughty word every time they do it.

It doesn't seem then a very effective way to teach them not to use those words. Very Happy

So you don't permit using it online, but they can use it in real life with their friends, etc. Gotta keep the Internet clean, right? ;D
