I have not approached gigapixel, but my (non-AHK  ) hobby is stitched photography. I have quite a few images in the 10000 pixel and 12000 pixel wide arena (though usually only 3000 or so pixels tall) The largest finished image I have created is 80MP, though I had to crop it to 65MP.
Which reminds, me, I still need to put most of them online....
