greetings,

i'm trying to automate saving specific webpage's to my computer using mouse / keyboard button recorder, say i have a page full of web links that i want to choose "save target as", however all the webpages have the same file name,

i used a timestamp paste to replace the webpage name with the current time so it's unique and can be saved without overwriting the previous saved page,

however when i run the mouse / keyboard recorder to automate this it tries to paste the original timestamp i made not the current timestamp so then it tries to over write the file,

does anyone know a way around this?

thank you much.

My suggestion would be to use the recorder first then modify the generated script to add the timestamp to the filename...
