I am currently using an autofire script with Call Of Duty 4. But I am worried, what if I get banned?
I gotta buy a new game, ofcourse. But does punkbuster check for autohotkey scripts, or is
autohotkey secure enough, so punkbuster can't notice the mouse clicks coming from there? |

You take a risk. AHK has no security features built in to prevent people from getting banned for TOS violations from online games. I recommend you play single-player when using AHK scripts. _________________ My Home Thread

I'll never understand why people would cheat in games (except when playing for money or other prizes).
When I play a game I want to compete with an other player or maybe the computer. Cheating is as if I would fill the fields of a crossword puzzle (or Sudoku) with the solution. Where is the fun for the player???
Maybe I'm hoplessely old fashioned... _________________ Hasso

I think using autofire is ok. its part lazy ( its too much effort to click the mouse more than once.) Part sensible ( protects you from the pain of RSI).
Whats the difference between using an autofire script and buying a controller that has autofire buttons???
There is a fine line between cheating and not cheating, but its difficult to tell where it is.
Take some of the half life series of games, they have a built in scripting language that allows you to perform such functions as autofire, duck jump etc. _________________ Steve F AKA Superfraggle
