Hello,
I'm entirely new to this concept & so far I have "made do" by using Desktop shortcuts.
I dwnld AutoHotkeys intriged that it would allow me to disable Capslock & allow me to commit to memory several useful "shortcuts" like quickly opening Notepad.
I read the Tutorial & frankly found it unhelpful & I reckon if you can manage to use Autohotkeys having read the Tut, ... then you probably don't need Autohotkeys.
Anyway I managed to copy some code that helped with Capslock & I managed to "Win-n" the opening of Notepad.
Now after a few restarts & a few days when I attempt to Win-n to open Notepad nothing happens & the Capslock is as damned annoying as ever.
It's as if the Hotkeys have not "taken" or do I need to have Autohotkeysb running?
I do notice that the green "H" icon which was in my system tray is no longer there, does that imply that if I had say a dozen hotkeys I would need to show 12 green icons, surely not?
Utterly confused, would anyone have the patience to help?
