You have to to disable the "windows file protection". google is you friend.

And the more recent versions of Windows have a nagging (but good) tendency to restore certain critical system files if tampered with.
You'd have to be admin to even be able to do this anyway. If, boot into Safe Mode, and do your changes from there, or if need be, boot off an external/other disk/cd.
You can use AHK to do all that, but not "unobtrusive"

Seems malicious... and I'd like to think most ahk users don't want ahk to get flagged as 'virus' because someone wrote a virus-like script (as the OP intimates). _________________ My Home Thread

My intention was to make a script to do the same in my own system.
And not to spread it anywhere!!!
