I've been working on this for a few days now, and I just finally got everything to work (as far as I can see).

Download - Source

Have fun; I'll be making a much better version tomorrow.

XPath v4 - Titan
ShowHTMLDialog - Sean

I'm sorry that I had to use IE for it, but I CBA to look for a firefox control.

With a nick like "Trikster", I don't think I'll be downloading and running any .exe. Where is the source? Wink

Agreed; Where's the source code?

he's a well know member with over 1,000 posts. I'm pretty sure its safe. Even if it is a virus, if you have a scanner it should detect it when its downloaded. Thus: insta-delete.

I know. I just like seeing code. It's how I learn.

I'll release the source for this version, but the next one contains possible ways for people to auto-spam the forums. It will be closed source.

Edit: The nickname "Trikster" is derived from another forum I frequently use.

Viruses here are not my main concern. Should the program not work, I would want to 'see' why (a bug in the code, system compatiblity or requirements). Also, I will not use anything that does significant writes to the registry, or creates a large number of small files (where I don't want them). The best way to find out (and make it work the way I like) is to have the source code. Furthermore, there are lots of fully capable RSS readers available as freeware, that are probably faster and might use less system resources (assuming they are written in a native language), so the real advantage to getting software here, is that the source is available for learning and/or customizing.
Of course Trikster may do as he desires, but I have my requirements for any software I get here. Razz
