Hello, I wonder if any user could recommend a software for plotting data into maps.
Say, I have a data about customers living in a certain area and i'd like to get a map pointing their locations, for example
Thanks. _________________ The best things of life are free. |

I think what edu means is he/she has data points which needs to be plotted onto a map {please correct me if I'm wrong}. I did some work with survey points, placing them on a digitized map using Bentley's MicroStation {a CAD program} a while back, but I haven't seen anything specifically for that. I'll take a look around and get back to ya.
Ciao,

Just found a site {which actually works through Google maps} where you can plot points and share {all free, it seems}. It's at http://maptrot.com/ . Don't know if you want one which is offline, but this is what I've found so far and it looks pretty good.

How about mapstraction, it offers a JavaScript interface to multiple map providers.
I like FreeEarth. |
