Hello all,

Let me just preface this by saying I love AutoHotKey, and use it for other games.

I had problems with Dead Space, a DirectInput game (so I've read here), and could not find a solution that worked for me with AutoHotKey.

But this works:

http://forums.ea.com/mboards/thread.jspa?threadID=462442

Basically you download GlovePie. Then, suppose I want to map the right mouse button (ahk: Rbutton) to something other than "Aim". I first go into Dead Space controls and remap "Aim" to a keyboard key (this part is important), say, "q". Now I want to use the right mouse button to move forward, which is normally done by the "w" key...

I then run GlovePie, and input the single line:

key.w = mouse.RightButton

and click "Run".

Now Dead Space will use the right mouse button to move forward.
I cannot believe it was that easy.

Shocked

@helloImMark

Thank you so much!

I had more or less given up on playing DeadSpace. Kenny directed me to Glovepie and your post and I have had no problems ever since. Signed up on the board just to thank you. Smile

Cheers
