| The German site is now operational again, and as far as I can tell it's also fully intact. I also have the pleasure of announcing that I will continue to host it, for two reasons. One is that Chris removed his files from the server, thus reducing the bandwidth load by a lot. The second is that I registered my credit card to the account, thus ensuring it will never be locked again. And if it ever does exceed the limit, it's only 49 cents per 1gb over the limit, so no worries whatsoever. Thanks for being patient everyone, and I'm sorry the German community had to go through this! |

Keine spezielle im Moment. Ich habe jetzt einfach mal die wichtigsten Wiki Seiten als .txt Dateien auf meine Festplatte gebannt. Aber einfacher wäre natürlich ein Backup der SQL Daten. Meines Wissens kann das aber nur ein Admin machen.
Genauso müsste man natürlich auch das Forum sichern. Also die SQL Datenbank. In regelmäßigen Abständen eben. Damit im Falle einer Hackattacke oder was auch immer ein so erstelltes Backup wieder eingestellt werden kann.
Ein korrektes Backup kann also eigentlich nur jonny machen. Oder nicht?

Was die autohotkey.de.vu Adresse angeht, das stimmt. Die muss natürlich wieder umgestellt werden. Kann man in diesem Zug evtl. auch die scheußliche Skyscraper Werbung mittels linkem Frame deaktivieren? Also diese Flirtbörsenwerbung die zum Ende hin immer eingeblendet war? Meines Wissens setzt nämlich die de.vu Adresse keine Werbung voraus. Das wird dem Domaininhaber auf freiwilliger Basis überlassen.

And last but not least. I think it's time to spend the german forum an autohotkey logo. Don't you think so? It still has the standard phpbb logo in the upper left corner. As for me why not the same as the english forum. Or what about a self-designed german posse logo?  Oh, I remember we discussed it a while ago and concluded to use the same one as the english forum, didn't we?
Btw. I made a logo for my small ToDo Webpage. What do you think about it?

a) Cool b) die züngelnden Flammen kommen nicht richtig raus (dachte erst es ist ein geschmolzenes Gummibärchen). Vielleicht doch etwas grossflächiger, praktisch ein "Steppenbrand" über die Taste ...

Hallo Freunde!
ich suche einen Skript, der in der Lage ist, folgendes zu machen:
In einer Word-Datei mussen die leeren Zeilen gelöscht werden, wobei am Ende keine leere Zeile im Text vorhanden sein soll!

Id think id disabled all the ad features, but i see a small ad on the top ?
Have any one expirience with denic.vu ?

 Hi, i have diabled the URLCloaking
so that you see the onlinehome URL
in the address bar rather than the .de.vu URL.
Hope that help for some problems user have
had in the german forum.
Also i found how to disable the ad
on the browser top, 'cus it wasn't an ad,
it was an Toolbar ! from .nic.de.vu
Is jonny here somewhere ?
I had sent him an PM in DE and EN forum
for to look about an users account 'cus he
have troubble with it.

ich habe jetzt mal die "URLCloaking-Funktion"
von de.vu ausgeschaltet. D.h. in der Browserzeile
sieht man jetzt nicht mehr AutoHotKey.de.vu
sondern die wirkliche URL.
Mal sehen ob das erst mal hilft
bis Jonny Zeit hat die Forensoftware zu konfigurieren.
Ausserdem habe ich jetzt doch endeckt wie man die
"Werbung" (das oben am Browserrand) abschalten kann:
das war nämlich gar keine Werbung sondern eine "Toolbar" !
