Some of the requirements make no sense. E.g. there have been many arithmetic expression evaluators posted to the AHK Forum, but creating an abstract-syntax tree just makes the code more complicated. AST's are to be used in low-level compiled code, only.

Also, 3.5 years ago we posted several versions of the 99 bottles of beer.

That would be a good point to make on the respective task's discussion page. Clarifying the task descriptions is one of the site's goals.

Interestingly, most of the program samples for the 99 bottles of beer problem are wrong on the rosettacode website (improper plural/singular handling, missing the final text: "No more bottles of beer on the wall, no more bottles of beer.`nGo to the store and buy some more, 99 bottles of beer...", etc).

Shocked Well as long as the AHK example is accurate, we're OK. Laughing

The AHK example is not accurate, either (missing the last lines). C.f. http://99-bottles-of-beer.net/lyrics.html. Also, the comparisons "x - A_Index - 1 > 1" look funny ("x - A_Index > 2"), there is no need for files and a console window, etc.

I've replaced the AHK example with a new, GUI model. Wink
