My primary concern is start up speed!
-associateable with .TXT
-justified text center (for poetry) automatically on start
-REAL total fullscreen
(transparency of all except text, maybe)

none of the above start fast enough on my NETBOOKs atom processor w/windows XP, so I am hoping AHK to the rescue and if not any alternatives would be appreciated, though I feel I have expired my google-foo.
THANKS, either way.

Doesn't really belong here, but try Google Docs.
Google is all about speed so I assume that they are fast.
Try it out.
EDIT::
After looking at Google Docs, I find that that is online only.
Still pretty cool though. _________________ Check out the new AHK forum competition! |

...I guess I could google, but I have no idea what any of those look like...

...I also have no idea what software will run on a Netbook...if you are assuming/know that AutoHotkey will run, then maybe Notepad2...will run on it? Notepad2 is the best/simplest Notepad replacement, but I don't know if it runs or "starts fast" on a Netbook... |

I don't know how to do it in ahk (at least not yet...) but i think it can easily be done if you only want a basic text editor.
Associate .txt to a program can be done in windows explorer.
I tried something and it has text center and full screen (no title bar), open file, save and quit (easy to add more).
I don't know how fast it is on a netbook... |
