|
|
I'm able to open the task manager and manually kill explorer.exe, but when I do
| Code: | | Process,Close,explorer.exe |
then it doesn't work... (it seems to restart). Any way around this programmatically? thanks. |

so I can concentrate 100% on the one window that is open, without any other possibilities for distraction or starting something else (short of ctrl alt delete starting the task manager, starting file, run, and typing "explorer"). That's why. |

Id actually like to know as for a different reaosn, Ive been trying the old COmmand and Conquer games in windows 7 and a fix for the colour corruption issue is to kill explorer before playing.
"Command & Conquer 95 - The First Decade version with 1.03 Rev.4 patch. Use "Set Affinity..." in Task Manager or ForceCore program to force the game to use only 1 CPU if you have a multicore system. Kill explorer.exe before launching the game to fix color corruption." |
