I was wondering who these users are, so I browsed the memberlist and did some simple statistic.
From the 1426 registered users:
380 haven't posted a single post:
79 of these have registered in 2004.
380 didn't post
235 posted 1 post
204 posted 2 posts
100 posted 3 posts
74 posted 4 posts
49 posted 5 posts
42 posted 6 posts
37 posted 7 posts
23 posted 8 posts
20 posted 9 posts
30 posted 10 posts
e.g. 1194 with 10 or less posts.
and 232 with more then 10 posts
From 36214 articles
Chris posted 17 %
and the top ten poster posted 40 % in total (14454 posts incl Chris)
If I add Bobo (aprox. 2000) as the invisible eleventh it is 45 %
which leaves 19760 posts for the 222 users (between 10 posts and the top ten), but since the number of posts also contains the posts of the guests, the average of 90 posts is incorrect.
I don't draw any conclusion. I just wanted to share the numbers. _________________ Ciao

2000!
Meanwhile jonny pimped up his GGWhatNot and impressed hundreds of minessota girls that way.
No doubt my priority settings needs an instant review |

So I am good in comparison to the average! But far away from being Top-Poster
Can't be everywhere the best
@Toralf
How long did it take to create this statistik?

And that is definitely a shame, by now the number of users should be at least in the millions, given the beauty of AutoHotkey.
So I decided, finally to realize my long felt decision to sign in to become the number 1427 and what happened? 1429 !
Hope that lots of the guest folks out there follow the example of the three of us and grade up from guest to regular members (it feels good !).
I am frequent guest since January - so I think I could name the top ten without looking in the stats, but why? I think all the guys who are in that ranking do a really good job in this forum (and some of them who diddnt reach there for different reasons do a grat job, too) and I would like to thank you all again for your quick and competent answers, for sharing your sometimes incredible ideas and solutions and for keeping this forum in that friendly and helpful style. (@Chris: you can be proud of your "team" - as a guest, you feel after a short while as beeing at home with your family. BTW - does anyone know what has happened with Rajat?)
Ok, I definitely, won't compete with anybody in getting under the top ten.
That oustanding documentation Chris delivers, has more answers then I have questions - whenever I do not find it at once, one of the guys up there has delivered the answer yet and I only have to search the forum.
So what should i post, besides of a warm thank you now and then, given that the questions of "those newbies" are answered by (again) those guys above quicker then I can translate them to german.
But in one or two weeks I will post a part of a really interesting set of programs I am working on since ages and hope to give at least something back to you. |

Yes, and it is easy to register; plus, you can find your own past postings more easily.

He is probably fine-tuning and perfecting the next major version of SmartGUI Creator, among other "programming travels". Also, I wonder what happened to Jon. I appreciate his major contribution of listing and categorizing all the scripts. It is not a small task, but it would be great to have that updated at least every 2 or 3 months.

Nice. I am sure there are many who also are working on new and interesting scripts or programs which relate to a new problem or handle something in a new/better way, and it would be great if they shared some of their AutoHotkey achievements also. _________________ 1) The Open Source Definition http://www.opensource.org/docs/definition_plain.php

Da hättest du den unglaublichen Vorteil, das du das nicht in deutsch übersetzen müsstest.

Welcome hotControler and congrats to your first post.
@Thalon:
It took me 10-20 minutes
@Titan:
No script, all manual calculation. (Since I only wanted to do it once, no need for automization.) _________________ Ciao
