Winroll, only ~20k executable, does the following (grabbed from the website http://www.palma.com.au/winroll/ ):
| Quote: | | Make a window roll into its title bar, send it to the back or make it stay on top. Minimize, maximize or close all visible windows, including minimizing to the tray area. Make a window translucent on Windows 2000 or above. WinRoll is lovingly hand-crafted in 100% pure assembly language to give the fastest response and the smallest memory footprint. WinRoll is proudly a FREEWARE and OPEN SOURCE application. |
A definite keeper. |

Really nice! I love small and useful proggies
And can be done in AHK too yes (but that one is only 25k in total).
If I only understood Assembly
This is nice: EasyCoder, but I warn you, the installation of the required MASM assembler took 3 (!) hours... |

In theory, yes. In practice Winroll works smoother than all those home-spun AHK scripts. I've spent enough time debugging these to appreciate that nifty little helper. |

Yeah winroll is better. I wrote that script as an attempt to merge more of my little utils into one script. I've since decided to just use what works best. _________________ <enormous animated gif> |
