AHKPad

Features:
- New/Save/Open
- Test Script (F5)
- Open AHK Help (F1)
- Change Font (kinda, you have to restart)

Becuase its 450+ lines heres a link:

AHKPad15.zip (archive with pics and all)
AHKPad15.ahk (Code only)

Unfortunately, there are several bits of code that I can't figure out at all.

Heres my To-Do list:

- FIND AND REPLACE!!!
- Horizontal Scroll Bar (possible?)
- Dropping a file into a Compiled AHKPad causes LOTS of problems
- I cant get the options to have the correct settings the FIRST time they open
- Script must be restarted if you want to change font
- Options for testing script (save each sepetely?)
- 'Save Changes before closing' opens when you JUST saved
- Cancel button for Save before close (cancel closing after they press X)

Feel free to help solve these,or if you want, add to the list. (tell me whats broken)

Although I haven't tried it yet, it looks quite simple and effective. Nice screenshot too.

It is a nice script and thanks for posting it.
Regarding your poll: I voted: I will not use it. But didn't want to stress that you are waisting your time. You'll learn while you code, so you are not waisting but gaining.
I used UltraEdit and now switched to PSPad. Both are high sophisticated editors. So it will be difficult to replace them with a AHK written Editor. Only if there would be a unique feature that would make it suppirior to the others would change my mind. Sorry.

I use the latest AHK version (1.1.15+)
Please ask questions in forum on ahkscript.org. Why?

I really liked the buttons and how they change to give a real 3D look. It's also a very fast app and since you've left it open-source, anyone can extend it to suit their needs. However, my preference stays with PSPad for the time being.

Has anyone made their own editor with syntax highlighting? That would be one of the biggest/hardest things to try and compete with the likes of PSPad.
