Hi all,
After being absent for a while, I'm back!
Finally I have an internet connection again, I moved, and the German Telekom is soooo slooooooow (It took them 2 months to get my phone and internet connection working)... And posting from work, mwah, don't want to get into trouble... (IYKWIM)
Still, the running AHK projects I promised to do, I have to postpone, being:
- JavaScript & AHK Tutorials
- Function library
- Translation of the AHK Help into Dutch
If anybody is willing and has the time to 'take over', please do... I saw there are already efforts to compile a function library.
I will probably be posting every now and then (also under: not-logged-in-daonlyfreez as you might have noticed ), but I really hardly have time at the moment to concentrate on AHK...
But, glad to be back... _________________ (sorry, homesite offline atm) |

No, "Me" is my alias when I'm at work, and want to give a quick answer without bothering to login (after all, I'm at work to work, not to chat with all you guys and girls, but sometimes I just have to) .
"Mini Me" is not "Me". And neither is "BoBo" (but I'm quite sure he is BoBo). _________________ The Gods smile upon you. Hi there!
I don't think a Dutch translation (or wiki) of AHK is necessary.
At school every Dutch child gets lessons in English, German and French for a number of years. Usually German and French are dropped after a few years, but English is not.
Also on television many programs are in the English/American language (with subtitles), and only foreign programs for the very young are translated into Dutch (as they can't read the subtitles yet).
So most of the Dutch are pretty good in reading English/American texts, and many can also write a readable text in the language. And this is even more true for programmers.
As for me: most of the books I read are written in English/American, and frequently I even think in English/American. And I canīt imagine I am the only one... _________________ The Gods smile upon you. Beware - it is probably because they know what is going to happen to you next, and find it amusing. You are correct, most Dutch speak their languages, (I speak Dutch, Frisian :p , English and German), but I guess there still are people who would like to be able to read the Help texts in Dutch though...
But you are probably right, I'll put in at the bottom of the low priority list |
