What about a new/separate forum section for the GUI'ers 
To follow up several up to > 10 page GUI threads, spreaded over different areas of the forum, could be a mess 
Will Rajat's GUI toy become (well, IMHO it is already) the official AHK-SmartGUI tool
If yes, I would expect that it should be separately hosted (or linked) at the AHK download area. Rajat, what do you think

For now, I don't think so. If in the future the quantity of GUI topics grows very large and seems to detract from other topics, I would reconsider.

The large number of pages in a topic doesn't seem to be a bad thing. In fact, I think it's good that all the SmartGUI posts have been kept under that one topic because it makes it very easy to find them.
And the different areas of the forum -- namely Wish List, Support, and Bug Reports -- seem quite on-topic for GUI in the since that there would need to be three new forums to mirror them: GUI Support/Wish list/Bug Reports. I don't think I want that.

Since AutoHotkey is open source, I don't think I'd ever say or imply that anything about it is official.

Good idea. I'll let him decide when/if SGUI should be linked there. |

though its up to Chris, but yes I'd recommend a separate GUI discussion/support section with the related posts moved there.
and let's not forget that Chris has himself made efforts to make GUI creation easy by implementing auto-placement and auto-sizing.
and Chris, it'd be nice if SGUI is linked (maybe hosted?) on ahk's download area.

Sounds good. I'll await word on which version you want posted in case you don't want the beta version there. |
