I use the IM client Digsby and it minimzes to the tray and restores on double click. There is not hotkey for this action so here is a script I have made.

Description;
Run script and press CTRL + ALT + D to pop up digsby. This is also very useful for pressing the key combination and then typing to find the contact you would like to talk to.

Instructions:
First you will need to download and install autohotkey a windows macro language. (<!-- m -->http://www.autohotkey.com<!-- m -->)

Then you paste the following into a text editor and save it as Digsby.ahk. You can run it and then press CTRL + ALT + D to restore or hide digsby.

If you are really lazy and slightly less cautious you can run the complied EXE I list here: Digsby Launch
