The website is back up and running. Did a lot of changes to it and plan to do even more changes at a later time. :)

Also, currently still trying to get more activity, so pass the forum on to your buddies and tell them to pass it on also.

Of course!? Does that mean you're willing to volunteer for some web-development? Shoot me a PM with what you know about web-development and I'll fill you in. :)

No, the forum isn't dead. I'm just doing some changes, adding some styles, moving forums around and such and it'll be right back up. I am also working on the homepage.

Speaking of which, I am wondering if anybody is willing to do some volunteer web-development. I cannot pay you nor do I plan to make money off of the website, so it'd be purely volunteer if anybody wants to jump aboard. :)

I believe that Eidis setup the forum as a learning experience, or an exercise, to get hands on experience with setting up a site that other people can use if they desire.

Yes there are hundreds of sites about programming languages, but most are specialized to a specific language or topic. The one that the OP has setup is intended as a general resource with links to tutorials, and a place to ask for help in a variety of languages and focuses.

It may not be a new concept, or a specifically needed one, but it is still something that could grow to be quite useful to many people.
Precisely what Elesar has said here. I am getting with a workmate of mine to teach me about server management and such so he let me use his space to start up a website. It is purely a learning experience for managing a website as there is much more to the site that I am doing other than the forum, which I just haven't shared with the public, yet.

seems wholly unnecessary and a huge waste of time when there are numerous forums to learn about programming languages and web hosting already
