Yes, they can do whatever they want, they can get to whoever they want. I know all of this.
Reason why I clear cookies, temporary files and all that is mainly to prevent clutter (I've had computers for repair which had gigabytes of temporary files, including virii hiding in there), not that I have anything to hide. None of my computers use any antivirus or firewalls (except for the built-in one, in XP, but the 9x system doesn't care about any of these).
The tor network has been penetrated long ago by the FBI and they "poisoned" it, gaining access to all the traffic. Personally I don't like being considered a criminal by default. If the current way of the world were changed for the better it would be much easier to keep track of really bad people, allowing the others to express themselves freely. But that's utopia, they say... Well, I still believe people can be good, if they get the chance to live really free and they get a sane education first of all. But that's so much off-topic here.
Going back to this forum: being on a page, no matter which, not logged in and then logging in from the top-left link option, it will take the user to the main forum page and not back to the page they were already viewing. I believe the user should be taken back the same page they were before logging in - maybe they wanted to reply to that topic or something. Wouldn't you agree?
