Inhalt von Feldern in Thunderbird auslesen

Ich möchte in einer mit Thunderbird geöffneten E-Mail den Inhalt der Felder "Von", "Betreff" und auch den Textbereich auslesen und in Vars speichern lassen. Bei Outlook und Outlook Express geht das ja mit ControlGet, nicht jedoch in Thunderbird. Gibt es irgendeine Möglichkeit, das zu erreichen? Danke für eure Unterstützung.
