Visual basic, then Delphi/Pascal

For me it was either html or Turbo Pascal.
(Also Visual Basic and Delphi.)
However, since that was in educational school (and my interest was 0) I would not really count those.
I learned almost nothing. :shh:

My really first programming language (which I actually used in my freetime) was Logitech lua.
After that, I switched to AHK ;)

Cheers!

The first thing I learned was HTML and CSS. After that, I developed websites for a very long time.
Now I study C / C ++

My first was some obscure version of Basic in college that ran on a mini computer. Since then I've written using dozens of 3GL and 4GL languages and a bunch of scripting languages. I'm no longer proficient in most of these tools/languages but I suppose I could pick some of them back up in a pinch.

AutoHotkey has been and continues to be an interesting ride because it is very much a hodgepodge language. Learning and continuously having to remember or sometimes relearn the idiosyncrasies of the language is a challenge. I use it because it is fun and very fast. In most cases, you can't tell that you are running a script.

I first experienced with Delphi for autoing Runescape 2d version in like 2008. I only made a script and stopped after.

I then found Autohotkey last summer (2018) to replace hotkeys for work repetitive task that needed two hands to press the original hotkey.
It led me to LOVE programming more than my first passion for music production.

I am now learning more Autohotkey and introducing myaelf to CSS HTML. Java script is next and on my top choice list of to do things.

Scripting language? SCM (VCMB).
Programming language? Delphi.

You've collected quite a few languages!

My first programming language was Autohotkey. It probably began with some clicker script of yore, but now I feel comfortable enough with it to get things done.
Much later, I began learning Javascript, and now I can use it to do most of the things I need.
I've had to write some Python and PHP in the past, but I don't feel comfortable with those at all.
I can't think of anything else.
Oh, I also feel comfortable with Regex. I almost always know what I want and how to approach the issue. But would you call that a language?

Not for speaking, for programming.

This continues this thread:

Also, what other programming languages do you know?

Also, you could mention any languages that you want to learn/are learning.

There was a QBasic craze at my school. Amongst other things I created some cartoons, a calculator (including HCF/LCD), and a script where loads of colourful shapes appeared one on top of another at random locations.

Although, if I go back a bit earlier there was a grey round robot called Roamer, that might be the first time I met the concept of programming languages.

Programming languages:
AutoHotkey
C++
HTML
LaTeX (MiKTeX and TeXstudio)
VBA (Excel/Word)
wxMaxima (Maxima CAS) (freeware computer algebra system) (cf. Mathematica, MATLAB)
some: ASM, AutoIt, batch (MS-DOS), CSS, Java, JavaScript, Lisp (via wxMaxima), Python, SQL, Visual Basic
also: Acc (MSAA), COM, QBasic, RegEx, SoX, YouTube API
also (file formats): bmp, ico, midi, txt, wav
future: more C++/HTML, perhaps more Java/Python
