It did actually, but it's the first time it happened to me :P
On well, I just mainly use sourceforge anyways... They give you some webspace with your dev profile...
I guess it really depends on what you're trying to do here.. ;)

3owl crashed 2 days ago and my site became unavailable. :( :!: When asking support, I got to know that they were checking on the free domains that are using their valuable storage as simple file-storage bins. This was not only me but also many other users. Did something like that happen with you ?

I have done some "tests" and 3owl seems to be more reliable ;)
I've actually switched from 000webhost to 3owl because of this and also because
Of the unlimited everything advantage... ;)

Thanks for putting in your thoughts, 3owl.com looks good except for the fact that it says that 'you are registered' :shock: everytime I try to create my account. I haven't seen 3owl.com before :(

http://www.000webhost.com/ looks to me the best free professional web-site creator . It gives you extreme control and authority
over the website you create , has php and sql support and is simplly cool (I never thought something like this existed). I am going to shift my site(s) to it. :D :D

For a description, you have to add the meta-tag

And also I hadn't "confirmed" my webs account when I did that test, so might of been the problem as well.

I just check and it worked. But for some reason Google search doesn't have a discription for the site. Do I need to put in a discription for google to show for my site? Maybe its something with webs.

i have just added it for you ;) but "Google doesn't guarantee that it will be added" to their index..

So I have to have a Google account to do that. I can never remember the password and username for those. : |
I think I'll just let the "spiders" add it to the google search.

well first of all... google just doesnt "do" full site addresses
but you can submit it, so that it will be added, here is the link for that:

When I type http://datadogscomputerprograms.webs.com in the google search bar, it says that there are no documents that match the search. But that is the right address for my website.

So no one can find my site on google? I have to give them the link? :(
