Maybe, I can't really remember. It won't explain what Hellbent is seeing either way.

@RUNIE when discord was new, and I'd assume even now (not sure) you could join any server without even being registered to discord, similar to IRC, can just connect, use any non-taken name, join any room (that doesn't force "registered only")

No such thing as a guest Discord user as far as I am aware.

No users banned with that name, so if you can't join it's because of an IP ban. I can't help you with that sorry.

ah, that was a weekend. weekends are indeed slow. And probably depends on your timezone, it's more active during USA hours. We used to have 4x the users, but then discord stole most of them, then freenode (where we used to be) went suicidal and we lost another 50% (the ones who were /never/ active. just joined for some reason, to sit and do nothing)

I actually checked it out the same day as this thread was made. There was 31 people online but was very quite. I had the window open in the background for an hour or two and not once did someone type something in chat. Perhaps a off day.

Then either your Discord account is banned from the Discord server, or by proxy your IP is banned. If you share household or live in a dorm, someone under the same IP (or someone that previously held the lease to your current IP) has been banned.

If you could give me your Discord username and discriminator (user#1234) I can check if your account has been banned, but it sounds like you've not been in the server previously.

link at top works for me too. Hmm. maybe its to do with already being a member there? Or maybe some IP or region blocks / vpn / whatever

Join irc though, hellbent, it's better :P

For me, the discord link at the top of the page seems to work, but the link from RUNIE's signature shows 'invalid'.
(It's a different link...)
