It's not lacking it afaik - it's just not available in each subforum (at least not for regular users).

At which subforum are you looking?
For example, in Bug Reports it's reserved for staff, I think (and in practice is almost exclusively used by lexikos to mark the topics he has finished).
Forum Issues is probably similar.

At least in 'Ask For Help' and subforums, it should be available.
Edit: Just did a test in 'Ask For Help' with a (new user) test account. There, the button was available and working in Digi.

Has the Digi theme always been lacking the button to mark a post as a answer/solution? Or is that functionality limited to certain subforums?
