Re: Need help with a fighting game combo script

The sense of playing a fighting game is to perform the moves by yourself. It's like playing a shooter game, if you don't have to aim, where's the point to play it? Or playing Chess with a chess computer etc. No support from my side! (I hope the others won't help you either) But I'm not capable of d...

Re: Automate AKH

You could add the commands to the startup section of your Keymapping_Borderlands script. You might have to put in some sleep commands to wait for the game to be accepting input.
You can send enter presses with the Send command or one of its variants.

Re: X and Y CoordinaTES

You probably want the WinGetPos command.

Re: Hwnd Creation Time?

EDIT: Looking into the AHK documentation I see some of this can be done without DllCall. You can get the process ID using the PID sub-command of WinGet . I couldn't find anything about getting a window or process creation time in the docs however. I'm assuming you want to get the time a given window...

Re: Get tweets.

Yes, it's possible. I would scrape the account page every few minutes or so and parse the HTML to check for new tweets. You can get the page itself with UrlDownloadToFile , which despite the name can also save to a variable. If I wanted to go the extra mile I'd do something with the Account Activity...

Re: Visual studio Vs Sublime Vs Scite. Fight!

I use a combination of Notepad++ (easier to use) and vim (better integration with source-checking tools and git). I never was a fan of fancy editors. The only thing I like about Visual Studio (and IDEs in general) is the integrated debugging tools. I've actually written a Win32 C++ project using VIM...

Re: We want AHK for Linux!

If there were an AHK-like for *nix it would be a separate project. Also it would probably be tied to a specific window manager, XWindows is about as generic as you could get but for any advanced features you'd have to tie it to GNOME, KDE, etc. each of which would be their own project. That would be...

Re: Two controls whose values depend on each other - g-labels being called in an infinite loop

It seems my issue comes from a misreading of the documentation. I read the following [v1.1.20+]: To set a function object for handling the control's events, Value must be a single variable reference, as in either of the following examples. Other expressions which return objects are currently unsuppo...

Two controls whose values depend on each other - g-labels being called in an infinite loop

Hello, I am a relatively experienced programmer who has recently started to use AHK. I am developing a script with a GUI which has two edit controls whose values depend on the other. I have created g-labels so that when the text in one control is changed, it automatically computes and updates the va...
