Re: Screen clipping

I saw this post from malcev and decided to ditch Tesseract and take advantage of built-in OCR in Windows 10.

Re: Learn how to protect your Intellectual Property in this free AHK webinar

Steven Thrasher (My IP Lawyer that was featured in the webinar) did a podcast with Mike Kim. Go here and listen to #222.

A lot of the same content as in our webinar. Just thought y'all might want to listen for a refresher.

Re: Is Alpha not working correctly

;col = 1 ;col := "1" col := 1 if col is integer msgbox col is integer if you swap the comments, ALL 3 will tell you that the variable is an integer. this is for convenience. do you want the strings to say NO, its not an integer? Yes, I would have hoped that strings to say it is not an integer (beca...

Re: Is Alpha not working correctly

@Guest3456 I may not be the worlds best programmer however I don't believe you can tell me that I'm incorrect on something that is not intuitive to me... Anyway, I see how it works now but still don't understand how the "1" in my video can say it is an Integer but the variable isn't actually a numbe...

Re: Is Alpha not working correctly

Can you watch my video in this post and help me understand how AutoHotkey shows the value as an integer, yet it breaks when I put it in my code? https://the-automator.com/is-it-truly-and-integer-variable-in-autohotkey/ XL :=XL_Handle(1) ;Connect to active Excel application Col:=String_To_Number("A"...

Re: Is Alpha not working correctly

Okay, I did it and it worked as you said however that seems counter-intuitive to me. I thought anything after an "if" could be wrapped in parens to contain it... Thanks!

Is Alpha not working correctly

I'm pretty sure the below code should not be true on both of the if statements.

Code: Select all

Col:=1
if (Col is Integer)
	MsgBox, % Col " is an Integer."

if (Col is Alpha)
	MsgBox, % Col " is an Alpha."

Re: Screen clipping

Do you select the clipped image first? you have to left click the clipped image, then hit control+T. Obviously this only works for the version that has the OCR in it (there are other versions that don't have it)

Re: XML Class

Indeed there seems to be a problem with the codeboxes you are using on your website, @Joe Glines . It would be great if it could be fixed, because these are still valuable resources. Of course, it's possible to add the linebreaks manually, but I am not sure, if AHK beginners will be able to do this...

It may not be identical, but you can get a copy from this page: https://the-automator.com/xml-parsing-is-super-easy-with-this-autohotkey-class/
