Re: Script runs correctly. However, when compiled, it does something completely different

I completely removed any dependence for the file toggle.ini by just hard coding the value for OutputVar . However, it still doesn't run correctly when compiled. The compiled script seems to not handle: ControlGet, List, List,, SysListView321, % "ahk_pid"uPID Loop, Parse, List, `n { IfInString, A_Loo...

Script runs correctly. However, when compiled, it does something completely different

Is there any reason(s) why a compiled script would produce a different result than the script itself when they're executed? It goes by so fast, I can't even tell where it's messing up. Is it possible the compiled script just runs too fast? Anyway, below is the script that works as expected when it's...

Toggle "Listen to this device" for "Line In"

I followed the directions exactly as stated in the below URL for Windows 10. However, this script won't toggle "Listen to this device" for "Line In". The script DOES open the "Sound" in Control Panel and even switch to the recording tab. However, it doesn't go to the "Line In" recording device or to...

Re: [solved] How to detect Calculator on Windows 10

Thank you so much for the tip. You were right, I had to point the Win10 association protocol to the UWP version of the app. onenote: takes care of the only issue I had! I didn't see a way to uninstall the OneNote 2016 app. I'm guessing that it will automatically be removed when Office is updated to ...

Re: [solved] How to detect Calculator on Windows 10

Thanks for the reply back. Actually Run, % "onenote:" starts the obsolete Win32 version of OneNote (aka OneNote 2016), not the UWP version. I can launch the UWP version of this app via the below command-line; however, I don't know how to restore it from a minimized state using AHK. explorer "shell:a...

Re: [solved] How to detect Calculator on Windows 10

Would someone please be kind enough to provide a working example to detect the OneNote UWP app? Im trying to activate/restore a minimized OneNote (UWP) app. I tried replacing the process name with "onenoteim.exe" in the example provided in this thread that's supposed to be working, but the app is st...
