(v2) VLC - click to pause

Hey, noob here. I wanted to make a script to pause a playing VLC video when I click it. Sort of like how YouTube works. So that would require sending {Space} with a left mouse click, but only when hovering over the video, not any other part of the UI. I noticed that when I hover the mouse over the p...

Haha, thanks!
I actually just figured it out less than a minute after posting!
Thanks anyway! It works great!

(v2) change resolution (v1 -> v2 Dll help) Topic is solved

Hey noob here, I found this old v1 script for changing desktop resolution. I think it's basically ready to go in v2 with barely a change, but the DllCall (line 13) is throwing an error (“Invalid arg type”). No idea what that means. Any help would be much appreciated! Full script: https://p.ahkscript...

@Helgef

Would you mind telling me which part of that page
references why LAlt up::a would appear as *LAlt up up:: ?

[v2.0-a108] “get GuiCtrl ref” help

Hi, noob here. Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this, but a friend was helping me convert this old Lexikos script from v1 to v2, (it's a menu search function similar to that old Unity HUD feature on Ubuntu, Lexikos wrote it 7 years back I think) but said he wasn't quite sure how to “get GuiC...

(v2) Adding extra “up”? (up up::) Topic is solved

LAlt up::a

The above line (line 127) causes this error when I run it:

Error at line 127.
Line Text: *LAlt up up::
Error: Invalid hotkey.

I'm just a noob. Am I missing something here?

@jNizM
@swagfag

Thanks guys! I was initialising the NULL in the wrong place.
Tucking it just under line 22 there seems to have done the trick.
Now I can actually give classes again :)
Really appreciate it, thanks again!

Re: help with v2.0-a106+ “Ptr” problem (?) Topic is solved

@nnnik

Sorry I'm far too much of a noob to know what the NULL contains or how to find out :(
All I know is that it worked perfectly until a106.
I'm trying to differentiate between 00000804 (Chinese input IME), and 00000809 (UK English input IME).

help with v2.0-a106+ “Ptr” problem (?) Topic is solved

Hello, noob here. Here's a line someone gave me as part of a ~26-line function to differentiate Windows 10 IME language, that worked up to v2.0-a105, but hasn't worked since a106. Since upgrading, it gives me a “type mismatch” error on this line: tid := DllCall("user32\GetWindowThreadProcessId", "Pt...

Re: SciTE4AHK dark theme - ahkbin style

hey guys,
this isn't code,
this is how you manually configure the SciTE4AutoHotkey style configuration tool.
Tools --> SciTE4AutoHotkey settings... --> Edit style

enjoy!

v2 problem with left/right modifiers? (< >) Topic is solved

First let me say I'm an AHK noob, and I don't really understand what's going on, so it could be my fault. However... adding < to one of my hotkeys makes another (seemingly totally separate) hotkey of mine be totally ignored. I'm using v2.0-a104. Here's essentially what it looks like: #If WinActive("...
