Re: FindText - Capture screen image into text and then find it Topic is solved

I'm running into a really weird issue... i'm trying to check if icon A exist. If it does, I would then want to check whether icon B exists. Icon B doesn't always appear, but when it does, I don't want the script to do anything. If only icon A appears, then just click it. This doesn't work for some r...

Re: FindText - Capture screen image into text and then find it Topic is solved

Hi there, I'm having this really strange issue and I can't figure this out. Hopefully, someone will be able to help me :) I have 2 laptops and they both have the same resolution (1920 x 1080). They do not have any scaling enabled (scaling in Display settings is set to 100% for both). The script belo...

Block mouse movement in a remote session

Hi all, How can I block my mouse in a RDP session? If I use this on my local machine, it works: BlockInput MouseMove but it doesn't work if I use the script in a remote session, as I can still move the mouse around. I've tried it with mstsc and teamviewer and parsec, none of them will stop the mouse...

Re: FindText - Capture screen image into text and then find it Topic is solved

Is it possible to edit an existing image found by FindText? Like, can we paste the code back into the software to make a quick edit?

Re: Disable mousewheel for Rage2

I had the same issue. I just had to do this and it works:

WheelUp::WhellDown
WheelDown::WheelUp

Essentially you just cancel the action with an opposite action.

Re: FindText - Capture screen image into text and then find it Topic is solved

Hi there, I came across your script and tested it and it works great! It's awesome, I love it! One small problem I have is that the execution of the script is a bit slow. I'm using your script to automate clicking between 2 images on my screen. The images are not always in the same location, hence w...

Close a msgbox in Autohotkey?

I have a script that displays a msgbox and is always on top (very important to have this). I would like the msgbox to be closed ONLY under these 2 conditions: 1. I manually close it myself. 2. When a specific window is closed, then close the msgbox. Here's the main part of the code that I currently ...

CTRL+C to copy URL on mouse hover

Hi all, I would like to hover my mouse on a URL and copy the URL with CTRL+Alt+C . This topic pretty much describes 99% of what I'm trying to do: https://www.autohotkey.com/board/topic/111762-mouse-hover-copy-link/?p=662644 I've taken the userscript and modified it slightly, so that it gives me the ...

Intercept protocol calls?

Hi all, Is it possible to intercept a protocol call and modify it with Autohotkey? If you click on a click-to-dial number, it opens with a URL:skype link. But we use Skype for Business, so we'd want to have that open as a URL:tel link instead. This Reddit post describes in more detail: https://www.r...

Convert powershell script into Autohotkey

Hi all, I'm trying to convert the following Powershell script that I wrote into autohotkey, but not too sure how to go about doing it. Would someone be able to help me please? $clientName = Read-Host 'Enter client name' $firstLetterLookup = $ClientName[0] // gets the first letter of the client name....

Re: Convert Excel into Autohotkey script

I've managed to modify the code myself, although I have no idea what I was doing most of the time as I'm not a programmer, but I think it works. Hope this helps someone. ^F8:: { FormatTime, TimeString,, Time ;MsgBox The current time is %TimeString%. string = %TimeString% string2= % RegExReplace(stri...

Re: Convert Excel into Autohotkey script

Sorry to bug you again, would you be able to help me tweak the script a bit? I found that whenever I am doing timesheet, I would simply look at the start time (which doesn't have to be the current time, it could be any time I choose) and then I'd choose the end time based on the 1/10 hour increment....

Re: Convert Excel into Autohotkey script

Yes! That's it! What a legend, thank you guys so much! Update: Sorry, noticed one small problem. If I don't put anything into the field, then it shouldn't output anything and should just cancel. Instead, it gives me this: Annotation 2020-03-08 201058.png Why wouldn't I put anything into the field? B...

You can download TrayBlank and use hotkeys or the GUI to control the brightness.

Re: Convert Excel into Autohotkey script

Thanks for the reply! I tried it and it works well, but I'm trying to modify it and not having much luck. I would like to have a msgbox popup that requires the user to input a time, rather than having a hardcoded time in the script. For the time input, I would like to just put in e.g. 824 and the sc...

Convert Excel into Autohotkey script

Hi all, At my work, we do our timesheet in 6 minute increments. Say if the current time is 1:00pm and I'm working on an issue and spent about 15~16 minutes on it. Well, my timesheet will be marked as 18 minutes, because it is billed in 6 minute increments (6+6+6). So we would put in our start time a...

Re: If process exits, then do something

That doesn't really answer my question. The question was if the process "exits", not "exists". A better way of putting this is if a process gets terminated, then do something. WinWaitClose won't work either, since it's looking for a window title. If you try windows + shift + S, it doesn't bring up a...

If process exits, then do something

Hi all, Is it possible for Autohotkey to monitor when an app is terminated, then do something? I know it can monitor an app once the process is created, but I want the opposite. My script currently looks like this: #+X:: { Send !{End} runwait, explorer.exe ms-screenclip: ;runwait, notepad.exe ;msgbo...

Re: Help with Run

Thanks to Mordecai on Discord! The correct format is:

Run, C:\Program Files\iSpy\ispy.exe commands "bringonline`,2`,1"

Not sure why Autohotkey doesn't respect Windows Environmental Variables, as I could simply run iSpy.exe in powershell or command prompt, without specifiy the full path. Oh well.

Help with Run

Hi all,

I'm trying to execute the following using Autohotkey:

ispy.exe commands "takeoffline,2,1"

I can't seem to get it to work though. I tried using this:

But it doesn't seem to work. I've tried various combinations too...
