Re: UN official Autohotkey Sites
Thanks for the heads up, though I always pretty much stick with main domain, no matter the site. Little late, but Merry Christmas to everyone.

Re: « What's on your mind? » Topic is solved
Pretty late yesterday, tired. Found a script which had just the thing I was looking for, that's copying active window's title to clipboard and not printing to MsgBox. Couldn't tell what the last symbol of a hotkey firing it was, modifier or not. But I've seen it mentioned somewhere in the Docs the o...

Re: Trouble with WinWaitClose and #If WinActive(stuffed with remaps) Topic is solved
I see. I'm not yet aware of a whole lot of things, but at the very least now I will know to keep remappings at the bottom, when writing scripts like this one. Thank you for the clarifications. The question I mentioned earlier is no longer relevant, so I marked your answer as accepted.

Re: Trouble with WinWaitClose and #If WinActive(stuffed with remaps) Topic is solved
I left in a hurry right after posting, but actually I did something similar just before I hit the couch. This line from Docs pushed me to try again Like the #IfWin directives, #If is positional: it affects all hotkeys and hotstrings physically beneath it in the script. Which is surprising, I didn't ...

Trouble with WinWaitClose and #If WinActive(stuffed with remaps) Topic is solved
Hi. I've been learning to work with different commands, using separate script files, but I've hit a wall trying to make it work in one script. It looks like this: WinWait, ahk_class ConanDemo #If WinActive("ahk_exe conan.exe") i::w k::s j::a l::d WinWaitClose MsgBox, Vengeance will have to wait. Con...

Re: About Installer.ahk within portable version
My initial post was a tad confusing, I edited it a little. sorry about that. I know how to set file associations, I just didn't know if doing it manually would have the same effect (context-sensitive menus) if you didn't use Installer.ahk, but I imagine it would write to registry etc. I chose portab...

Re: Learn when to stop! Don't over-engineer your code.
I am no programmer, but this reminded me of two things. One is something I could apply to myself; just replace keyboard with pencil/pen in "Put down the keyboard" and stop adding shadows where they're not supposed to be in a drawing.. being self-taught entirely (nevermind primary school's art lesson...

About Installer.ahk within portable version
Hey. I've been pretty confused about Installer.ahk after downloading zipped, portable version of AHK v1.1.31.01 some time ago. I did read that install version also provides some sort of portable functionality, but I went with zip. Yes, the name kinda gives its purpose away  but do I need t...

Re: FINAL change autohotkey tray icons Topic is solved
I see, maybe I'll manage somehow. I don't really have any scripts of my own yet, just tried AHK for the very first time few days ago. For now I managed to conjure a simple script to remap few keys, and have it working for specific application. But I'd prefer to have it alarm me when it detects appli...

Re: FINAL change autohotkey tray icons Topic is solved
I'm sorry for butting in, but this sparked my curiosity. It looks useful, though I'm unsure if I get the purpose of this script (if at all) right. Basically, as long as it's running, it causes AHK to load user's own custom icons for aforementioned script states when they're running any other scripts...

Re: Guestbook: say hi, thank you, whatever!
Hi. I've known about AHK for years, but never really got to try it until over a week ago. I'm pretty sure I don't know 90% of what it's capable, but I tested its key remapping capability on a game demo (as a test) - no changes to either game files nor system, and for a left-handed to use wsad withou...
