Re: How do I pause multiple running scripts with one hotkey?

Just about to sleep so I'll read some more tomorrow but could it say be used to set process IDs or variables I can then look for to end?

Re: How do I pause multiple running scripts with one hotkey?

teadrinker I did not copy it correctly sorry! It's definitely doing something, I've no real idea what's happening. It's started a bunch of functions called * and I can start and stop them with ctrl+p I'm assuming I need to set ChildPIDs somehow? Sorry very new with this and every one of these "aski...

Re: How do I pause multiple running scripts with one hotkey?

Thanks @boiler I'll do some reading on both, never worked with INI files. I've had a quick read, do these allow me to "set" process IDs or some other variable I can then work with?

Re: How do I pause multiple running scripts with one hotkey?

boiler I'm using this currently to start and initialise the scripts. Do you mean adding a pause function to each and then running something like this? Sleep 1000 Send {F11} Sleep 1000 Send {F10} Sleep 1000 Send {F9} Sleep 1000 Send {F8} Sleep 1000 Send {F7} Sleep 1000 Send {F6} Sleep 1000 Send {F5}...

How do I pause multiple running scripts with one hotkey?

Hello, There's a few of your that's been helping/asking questions about the bot I've been building and well it works! Big thanks all round to those that've helped, I don't want to bother them with an @ but they know who they are. To get around the fact AHK doesn't support multi threading I've ended ...

Re: MoveMouse to any "true/found" multi expression If statement image?

Apologies! Game is https://store.steampowered.com/app/378760/Pixel_Starships/ Free 2D spaceships, it's been pretty useful for learning the basics of AHK. "My idea was that with the previously extra small clipped arrow graphic, any variation in a small graphic would cause a lot more matches. So this ...

Re: MoveMouse to any "true/found" multi expression If statement image?

Updated! I swapped out the above text for the details in your first post:

Using: "|<arrow>*170$26.zwDzzs0Tzw03zz00zzk0DzU007k000w000D000300000000000000000000000000z00zzk0Dzw03zz00zzk0Dy"
err0: .09
err1: .50

And those work! Odd that the second one isn't working!

Re: MoveMouse to any "true/found" multi expression If statement image?

Amazing Chunjee I've tried both and I'm not sure I'm doing it right if it's working for you but not me, I changed the Text:= to your suggestion and I updated the err modes I thought but it doesn't find anything. I might be using something wrong, I assumed I just replace the bits you've shown me? F1:...

Re: MoveMouse to any "true/found" multi expression If statement image?

Thanks @Chunjee I'll try that and report back!

Now you've seen the graphic I'm trying to capture is there a better way/approach you would've used? I'm coming at this from an inexperienced perspective and FindText just seemed to make sense but my knowledge is small.

Re: MoveMouse to any "true/found" multi expression If statement image?

Ah right I follow, sorry learning fast with all this! The objective is to click the sprite when they've got that arrow/flashing bar appearing over their head, no more no less! Annoyingly as the sprite moves left and right the pixels of the arrow morph slight, sometimes the left side is a pixel or tw...

Re: MoveMouse to any "true/found" multi expression If statement image?

Hello, boiler I was using that but I wasn't sure how to handle the multiple variables and using the string by Chunjee I was able to revert back to the original FindText function (which is where the variable "ok" comes from, it's the default). That let me convert all 11 images into the one search str...

Re: MoveMouse to any "true/found" multi expression If statement image?

That did work boiler but still running into the same issue with being unable (not knowing how) to assign the found value a variable I can then use. #include C:\Users\xx\OneDrive\AutoHotKey\lib\LIB_FindText().ahk H:: Text:="|<Arrow1>*109$18.zzzkHzkHzV00V00V00w07w07U00U00z0zz0zz0zz0zzzzU|<Arrow2>*77$1...

Re: MoveMouse to any "true/found" multi expression If statement image?

Thanks both, I've been having a go at getting this to work this afternoon. Chunjee that corrected my string and has allowed me to use the original find FindText. That's been interesting because it looks like it was never finding the correct image in the first instance, and the MoveMouse was triggeri...

Re: MoveMouse to any "true/found" multi expression If statement image?

Hello both, Might be easier if I post the whole code I'm working with. @Boiler I tried swapping to using X and Y and nothing moves, using specific coords has the MouseMove as expected. It's definitely finding the image at least. #include C:\Users\xx\xx\AutoHotKey\lib\LIB_FindText().ahk F:: Search1 :...

MoveMouse to any "true/found" multi expression If statement image?

Hello, So the bot I've been building with a lot of questions being answered by @boiler (thanks a lot dude). Works perfectly, it's able to run the game 24/7 happily and I think I've got my head around the vast majority of WHY everything is working. For my next problem I know I need to assign variable...

Ahhhhh, thanks @boiler I follow now. I really didn't get it last night, but I think you mean assign empty variables so that each cycle they go from empty to full right?

Re: Looking for help with, I think, a while/unitl loop. Topic is solved

Thanks dude, that fixed it! I totally checked the image a bunch of times but I guess I mixed them up or something at some point. Using a larger FindText reference image has it turning off.

Re: Looking for help with, I think, a while/unitl loop. Topic is solved

Hello! Thanks for chiming in, it's clicking there but it's actually using the image off to the left as it's search and another that might appear, the other is more complicated still at the same size. I've tested the FindText capture function loads, it's definitely finding the correct image. 000000__...

Re: Looking for help with, I think, a while/unitl loop. Topic is solved

Thanks Boiler, that explanation makes sense.

Although those two lines are already inside the Loop at the start, did you mean?

Code: Select all

Search1 := "|<M>*73$21.yTzb3zzsTzw0DwU1zY3kDUS1wD0DVs1zD0DU"
Search2 := "|<G>*103$22.z007z00Tw01zk07z00E007000S"
