Persistent variables?

Hey guys.
Is there a way to keep a variable persistent? Even after you close the script and reboot the machine?

search for text in an email? Topic is solved

Okay. So my script will generate two variables. One is a number, and the other is a word. I would like my script to search incoming emails for a specific email that would contain those two variables. I run Thunderbird so it can convert my emails to plain text if need be. Can AHK do that? Can is sear...

Re: Any limits on ImageSearch?

ErrorLevel 2 means the image couldn't be loaded(due to the supplied image path being wrong or extremely unlikely internal Windows reasons) either ur paths are bad or ur folder structure is bad, which basically boils down to ur paths being bad also theres no A_#ScriptDir builtin variable Here is wha...

Re: Any limits on ImageSearch?

Okay, here's an update. I tried cropping all my .PNG files down to no more than 20-30 pixels. And I narrowed down my search area by a great deal. Still, the ErrorLevel keeps popping up at 2. So I tried a little test. I copied one of my image searches from the larger script, to a smaller test script....

Any limits on ImageSearch?

Guys, I'm writing up a script that has a lot of ImageSearch commands. But as I ad more .PNG files, and more ImageSearch commands, the image searches eventually stop working, and producing only ErrorLevel 2 results. At first I though there was too many .PNG files in a given folder. So I subdivided my...

Re: ImageSearch not working???

Well, what I found after a lot of trying is that it appears there can't be too many .PNG files in the same folder. For some reason, after a certain amount of .PNG files in a given folder, it stops working. My issue simply got solved by putting some .PNG files in a subfolder. I don't understand it, b...

ImageSearch not working???

Hey guys. I'm having a real hard time figuring out what's wrong with my image searches. The following script always turns up no value for x and y, and a ErrorLevel 2 when I maximize and activate Thunderbird: CoordMode, Mouse, Screen CoordMode, Pixel, Screen SetTitleMatchMode, 2 WinWaitActive, Thunde...

WinWaitLoad?

Hey guys. Is there a command I can use to pause a script until a page is loaded? WinWaitLoad, or something to that effect? I want my script to navigate a Firefox page. And it would be nice if it could wait for the page to load instead of using Sleep, XX and trying to guesstimate how long it will tak...

Splitting a script?

Here is basically what I want it to do. Step 1: If the words "buyer is ready" are present on an active browser page, I want the script to skip step 2 and go straight to the step 3 Step 2: if the words "buyer is not ready" are found, the script should do: MsgBox, Waiting on buyer. Than the script wai...

Re: WinMaximize??? Topic is solved

Thank you. I will try it as soon I get to my windows PC. And what are the "Sleep, 200" commands for? Do I really need them? I don't understand why the script needs to pause at this point.

Command for window with partial tittle?

Hey guys. Go really easy on me in your replies. I am barely starting out understanding AHK. So let's say a command specific to the Login page of YouTube would be: WinActive, Youtube - Login WinWaitActive, YouTube - Login But once you click Login, the window title changes. And in my specific case, th...

Old dog, no new tricks, willing to pay.

Hey guys. For the last week I have been trying to do the tutorial. And I honestly think it's too complicated. Can't teach an old dog new tricks. So I would like to offer someone to write some scripts for me. If it works out, I am willing to pay for it. I can pay with Canadian dollars or with Bitcoin...

Can Pulover's Macro do this?

Hey guys. I am a construction worker and a part time Bitcoin trader. There is a lot of repetitive tasks to do with my trading and it requires me to stop work in order to deal with every purchase order which can be quite often on busy days. Where to start with which software?

Hey guys. I don't have any exoeriencecwutb thing sdcc like Excel, or AutoHotKey. But I wish to automate some of my Bitcoin trading as this stuff is very repetitive. This means I have to learn from scratch. So which software would be best suited for me? Should I learn and use AutoHotKey, or Pulover's...
