Re: QuickLinks (Menu by folder)

Very cool! I think this can be useful. One thing I noticed though, is that I would want to be able to pass an input parameter (the folder for which to create a menu) and return the menu name as an output of that function. That way, the QL_Show can be called using that parameter (right now, the menu ...

This is fucking awesome stuff! I found this one about Robotics Automation as a service, and it's really good content. Glad you're putting it out there!

Re: Colorette - Simple Color Picker (v 2.1)

Nice! I still use the old Colorette, have been using it longer than I can remember, just because it is simple and it works so well. Welcome back, Sumon. I wonder what was updated. Thanks! Always nice to hear that scripts I created get used. I mean, that was the purpose when creating them... :) As f...

Re: Best way to initiate a script

I think I understand what you're trying to do, but I don't understand your problem. Does your script shutdown when you have used it? Should it shutdown? There are a few ways to make a script easily available, f.ex: Have it autostart with Windows, like you mentioned - using the %A_Startup% folder Hav...

Looks good .

For anyone interested, the hotkeys are Ctrl + Rbutton to save RGB, and Rbutton to save hex, correct me if I'm wrong.

Cheers.
You're the opposite of wrong. Also, Esc to force the script to exit (cancel the color picking). Updating post.

Thanks!

Colorette - Simple Color Picker (v 2.1)

Ahoy! Long time lurker (well, actually, used to be an active member, then not) posting due to a slight update in one of my scripts - Colorette. Not sure if it was ported to the new forums, so here it is (with some code cleanup): Colorette is a simple standalone script that runs when you launch it, l...

Skype for Business snippet

Simple but incredibly useful snippet to ignore Skype for Business's clumsy interface when trying to contact someone. Select an email adress and hit #s - alternatively, hit #s and type in the name of the person you wanna contact. Note that you should customise this script to include your default orga...

Re: Replacement for Zizorz [imgur screenshot upload tool]

If you have managed to get this to work, I would be interested in knowing. I'm (again) working on fixing Zizorz... I was close a few months ago, but then moved to another country, and the project has been on hold again. I know alot of users are missing Zizorz - and I am one of them. I would really l...

Re: AHK(v2) rebranding [Name Suggestions]

Favorite suggestions so far:

AutoHotkey2
AHK
PrimeScript
Crisp (or CrispScript, for extra fun pronounciation)
WASP
Weasel

There are a lot of bad suggestions (sorry to say, but yeah), but these ones are decent. I especially like Wasp.

Because it's one that works and we have access to. If people decide on another design scheme (which I am all for!) jNizMs clean green one looks really sweet, I would like to see that style in 16x16. But by uploading the old one I view it as having not made any "decision" yet.

Re: Name is important, Community is what makes it work

When I was young I thought that HOTmail was a porn website :) AHK is a always a french-german institution about commercial industries, don't select the AHK word alone. It seems community want a foundation, don't rename it a lot, use acronyme for discard hot word, have a good phonetics, and keep "ww...

Re: Name is important, Community is what makes it work

I wrote a longer reply, but here's the minimalistic version: Polyethene owns and controls the domain. I would be for a name change to a "good" name (but most suggestions are quite meh), but I won't propose it. I would also be for using the abbrevation AHK fully, and going for f.ex. http://ahkcode.co...

Re: Maybe a hall of fame and Libaries section

I actually believe a Wiki is not the optimal forum for listing scripts, especially if it's "separate" from the forum in regards to permissions and style. If there would be a way to integrate it into the forum, however, I would be totally for. The second-best option is to have a forum-based list. Ano...
