Re: Are all functions capped at 1000ms in pulover?

Changing it from the bottom tab works so this will do for now. I guess there's only a "default" for mouse and window commands. Whatever delay you have in the bottom box will be the delay of the next filedelete, etc. Also, you can highlight multiple lines of pmc code to change all of them at once. N...

Re: Are all functions capped at 1000ms in pulover?

I tried envsub, wingettitle, filedelete and fileappend so far and i get 1000ms delay by default in the delay tab. If i try to edit them, i don't see an option to change that, like i have in imagesearch for example Okay...I think I see the problem you're running into. If there is no option to change...

Re: Reloading list variables on restart

I don't understand if the user global variables have to be preset values or they can get modified by scripts. I believe global variables are preset values and can not be modified by scripts. This kind of stuff you're asking. You should copy the ahk code and get help by posting the code on the gener...

Re: Reloading list variables on restart

Those are global variables for all macros. That notepad list is just a convenient way of listing all variables in alphabetical order. If you click FILE and LIST VARIABLES that list comes up. If you want to add or change global variables go to OPTIONS > SETTINGS > USER GLOBAL VARIABLES. If you change...

Re: save and close Excel2010

flyingDman I'm using Excel 2003. I get an error when trying to interface with Excel 2003 using COM if Excel is the last active window. If I activate another process (such as my brave browser) before attempting the COM interface, it works. Is this a error specific to Excel 2003? This works: winactiv...

Re: Recent Files menu item doesn't have any enter in it

My "recent files" menu is not populated either. I never really needed to use it. In PMC if you click ctrl+O windows files explorer takes you to the most recent relevant folder. Also, you can pin and rearrange folders you use most often under "quick access" at the upper left corner of file explorer. ...

Re: Image Find then click slightly above

i cant figure out how to move the mouse up relative to its found location x/y, i was attempting to use %FoundX1% with %FoundY1%-15 so it would click slightly above, not sure how to modify these variables. After finding the image, foundx and foundy will equal the upper left hand part of the image. M...

Re: Recording Macros for AHK

btw, creating subroutines for determining coordinates is certainly no rocket science (and has be done regularly), once you know the AHK basics. But if it seems like rocket science anyway, perhaps PMC prevents people from learning programming. (Of course, not everyone is interested in learni...

Re: Recording Macros for AHK

He said adware, not malware. Big difference. The link provided contains "warning_pullovers_macro_recorder_has_malware". Most regular AHK users just don't see the point to learn about a seemingly complicated interface with no real support, if you can easily write the code yourself and can get help w...

Better to avoid it now. Pulover's become a pushover. He's been paid by Lavasoft to bundle their Adware Web Companion with his macro program. https://www.reddit.com/r/AutoHotkey/comments/yy5ovn/warning_pullovers_macro_recorder_has_malware/ Go ahead, make an issue about it on Github, see how he respo...

Re: Is Pause - Random Delay Option broken?

If you export to ahk and run it standalone, it no longer randomizes. I am new to ahk and pulover so i may be wrong You probably should have mentioned that in your first post. Anywho, it's a rain day so no bicycle ride. I have a little time. Yes PMC is not exporting the code correctly. Incorrect exp...

Re: Is Pause - Random Delay Option broken?

Hi. I am just poking around in the tool to see what it can do and cant seem to get the "random delay" option to work in the Pause command. If I tick the random option and enter a min and max value the code created is just a sleep command with the min value I entered. Nothing is added to generate a ...

Re: Copy .pmc commands/lines to another .pmc macro file

Another tip is make sure you delete or unselect the code in the 2nd pmc file you are pasting to. If code is selected in the 2nd pmc file and you just paste code on top of that, it makes a mess. A ton data is pasted to the 2nd pmc file and it takes forever.

Yeah 80-100 seems like the sweet spot for what I'm doing. I first used 128 since it's right in the middle, but was getting too many false positives. And yes, I now understand my initial question doesn't really make any sense.

Color Variation Closest to Black and White

I often need to find an image with constant shape but varied color (for example highlighted or un-highlighted). What color variation from 0 to 255 would be best to use in ImageSearch? Is there a color variation that is exactly like black and white?
