Re: Recent Files menu item doesn't have any enter in it
The recent menu (of PMC,not of windows) did work quite well before I upgraded it to current 541version. Its very very helpful when we're working on 2-3 files and just forgot which file we worked just before. Also its a quick way of opening last few files. There must be some problem in saving my pre...

Recent Files menu item doesn't have any enter in it
I'm using latest PMC v5.4.1. I've set my PMC to use only one instance at a time on my Windows11 standalone Pc. Problem is that my 'Recent Files' (under File Menu) is always empty. Howsomany PMC files I may open and close, it never gets populated. Even though I'm admin of this current windows pc. Pl...

Re: Copy .pmc commands/lines to another .pmc macro file
Wow Wow Wow Very very thanks. I checked. It worked. I'm astonished that even the PMC creator opined, I happen to read somewhere just after I created this post yesterday, that it wasn't possible (to copy the PMC code from one macro file into another). Thanks again. This is great cavity or work aroun...

Re: PMC: How to make macros always ready to use?
If at all we need to keep a macro tab open to make its 'hotkeys' active, then what is the use and diff of the option 'Hotkeys Always Active' ?

Re: Copy .pmc commands/lines to another .pmc macro file
I too wish to import some of the macros from one file into another. Because there are some steps which are producing error. But I don't know which macro and which steps are producing those errors. Now to try hit and trial, I need to segregate all those macros in diff files. And wo such an export/imp...

Re: Warning: This variable appears to never be assigned a value.
I'm sorry that I forgot to mention that I'm very much a beginner and had gotten this code from my v1 script created by me. I had tried it to modify it v2.x specs, but couldn't succeed (even with the help of ahk1 to 2 converter). After writing here, I tried harder on Ahk Help documents, and had under...

Re: Warning: This variable appears to never be assigned a value.
Thank you. And aplogies. My mistake that I forgot to mention that I was a very beginner and was using ahk v1 at basic level, and got the (may be somewhat modified to fit to v2.x) code from ahk v1.x. In the mean time, I tried harder in v2 help documents on ahk website (very well written). And I under...

Warning: This variable appears to never be assigned a value.
I'm getting above stated error in Line when running this simple script in Ahk v2.x:
Code: Select all
Run 'L:\Bagg\AHScripts\Win+n ScIte- 3.ahk'
MsgBox("", "", 3)
(LTrim("Should I run startup apps?")
)
if (msgResult == 'Yes')
{
MsgBox("gddd")
}

Re: script not in startup despite being included in win11?
I too am having exactly same problem on Win11 22H2 Build 22621.1485 Some items/programs, when put into the common or admin's startup folder are run correctly when the admin/user logs in. But some, like Utorrent, and ahk scripts pose problems (read 'don't run'). I've tried many solutions over many da...

Good.
You caught it.
Can you pls tell (perhaps with some example) the 'Timeout' syntax? Because I couldn't find any option to define 'timeout' in Pmc.

AHk2.02 doesn't auto-run at Win11 boot time
Earlier autohotkey's scripts, when put inside Windows Start Menu's> Startup folder, used to run automatically on every reboot. But since I updated my Windows11 to the version 22H2 Build 22612.1413, my Ahk scripts don't run on the boot time. Although all other 'startup' items run as expected on ever...

Re: Pulover's 2 problems: Can't cancel a dialouge box Thru Pulover commands, and Duplicate Hotkeys error.
Purpose was to produce a msg by the ahk macro, and wished that that msg dialogue box went away without doing anything actively by the user.
Anyway, it was not something big. I moved on some other way. Thanks again.
But if you knew what may be causing this, I'd be obliged.

Pulover's 2 problems: Can't cancel a dialouge box Thru Pulover commands, and Duplicate Hotkeys error.
1. Can't we create a macro command to click the 'ok/cancel' button of a msg box which itself has been produced by the PMC macro? In other words, suppose the first line of a macro in PMC is set to produce a simple msg box with 2 buttons, 'cancel' and 'ok'. And the next line of command is a simple 'E...
