Yes! but if I use := aTestet is not a string any more
Ok. I wasn't clear that you wanted aTestet to be a string in the original post.

Re: array descriptions - what's differ

Hi! I try to do one thing in two ways, like this aTestet = ["A", "B", "C"] aTest := aTestet bTest := ["A", "B", "C"] MsgBox % "aTest.count() .: " aTest.count() "`naTest.1 .: " aTest.1 "`n`nbTest.count() .: " bTest.count() "`nbTest.1 .: " bTest.1 bTest works (as expected), but aTest doesn't - Why? Re: Change Background Color of a Gui Hotkey Control. Topic is solved

One thing remains: In a Gui with multiple controls can underlaying Hotkey control quite often pop up when manually changing the focus (via Tab key or mouse click)! rommmcek Thank you for noticing that. The version below solves that problem: #NoEnv Gui, Font, cWhite Gui, Color, Red, Black Gui, Add, ...

Re: Change Background Color of a Gui Hotkey Control. Topic is solved

Here is a similar but simpler implementation of the above: #NoEnv Gui, Font, cWhite Gui, Color, Red, Black Gui, Add, Hotkey, vHotkeyCtrl gHotkeyCtrlEvent Gui, Add, Edit, yp vEditCtrl HotkeyCtrlEvent() Gui, Show OnMessage(0x06, "HotkeyCtrlEvent") ; WM_ACTIVATE = 0x06 Return HotkeyCtrlEvent() { GuiCon...

Re: Help with AutoHotkey justification at work based on fear of malware Topic is solved

Folks, It turns out that compiled versions of AutoHotkey scripts get detected by intrusion prevention, firewall, and anti-malware software, such as Symantec Endpoint Protection. When I ran the compiled version of the following script: #NoEnv Files := A_IsCompiled ? A_Args : GetFileNames(2) Run % "C:...

Help with AutoHotkey justification at work based on fear of malware Topic is solved

Hi Folks, I received the following email from my IT department today: Hello, I reached out to you a few weeks ago asking about the software AutoHotKey running on your machine, and unfortunately since then I have seen 16 additional notifications. Doing a little research, I found that it is actually q...

Re: TreeView Large Icons - Is it possible? Topic is solved

Check out the LargeIcons parameter in the IL_Create function: ImageListID := IL_Create(10, , true) ; Create an ImageList with initial capacity for 10 icons. Loop 10 ; Load the ImageList with some standard system icons. IL_Add(ImageListID, "shell32.dll", A_Index) Gui, Add, TreeView, ImageList%ImageLi...

Re: Change Background Color of a Gui Hotkey Control. Topic is solved

It looks like the Hotkey control does not allow custom background or font colors:

Code: Select all

Gui, Font, cWhite
Gui, Color, Black, Blue
Gui,Add,Hotkey, , ^c
Gui,Add,Edit, , hello world
Gui,Show,w200 h100
return
GuiClose:

Re: OnEvent Error

lexikos Thank you for the clarification. For reference, here is an example using an event sink object: myGui := GuiCreate(,, Events) ; Events is the "event sink object" myGui.AddText("", "Press Alt+F4 or the X button in the title bar.") myGui.OnEvent("Close", "Event_Close") ; Callback is a method r...

Re: OnEvent Error

That was not the case in the previous version. Of course it wasn't. That is why it was written in the change log (in the announcement post), which nnnik quoted. It is very important to read the change log before downloading a new alpha release. Every new release of any kind always includes somethin...

Re: OnEvent Error

The OnEvent method expects a function that can accept a specific amount of parameters. You are handing it a function that doesn't accept any. You need to make sure it can hold at least that much. nnnik , Thank you for pointing that out. That was not the case in the previous version. (I verified it ...

Re: OnEvent Error

@lexikos, Thank you. The code below produces the same error. Could you point out what I am doing wrong?

Code: Select all

myGui := GuiCreate()
myGui.AddText("", "Press Alt+F4 or the X button in the title bar.")
myGui.OnEvent("Close", () => ExitApp())
myGui.Show

OnEvent Error

The example code below yields the following error under the latest v2.0-alpha release ( 2.0-a103-56441b52 ) when closing the Gui: Error: Too many parameters passed to function. Here is the code: myGui := GuiCreate() myGui.AddText("", "Press Alt+F4 or the X button in the title bar.") myGui.OnEvent("C...

Re: GDI+ standard library 1.45 by tic

Thank you Helgef ! :wave: RazorHalo , in your Gdip_GetPathWorldBounds(pPath) function you might want to replace VarSetCapacity(RectF, 16) NumPut(0, RectF, 0, "float"), NumPut(0, RectF, 4, "float"), NumPut(0, RectF, 8, "float"), NumPut(0, RectF, 12, "float") with VarSetCapacity(RectF, 16, 0)

@iPhilip As posted, the sample script generates an error. What is the error your getting? I'm using the Gdip_All.ahk file from the first post of this thread and only the functions defined within the sample script itself as far as I can tell. On my system it generates a Gui with a rotating square in...
