Re: Upcoming Ahk2Exe changes

Lexicos I’m looking at updating Ahk2Exe and I see that you have the latest version of the Ahk2Exe Master branch, while fincs has the most up to date of the Edge branch. It would simplify matters for me if you could update your Edge branch to that of fincs. (Sorry, I’m a git newbie so I don’t know i...

Re: Alternative for contains when using arrays?

Use the short form of RegExMatch (~=)

Code: Select all

nos = 1
mylist := strsplit(mylist, "`n")
if (mylist[nos] ~= "i)item1|item2|item3")
; error
For an exact match, use the start and end anchors (^$)

Code: Select all

nos = 1
mylist := strsplit(mylist, "`n")
if (mylist[nos] ~= "i)^(item1|item2|item3)$")
; error

To empty the clipboard with traditional syntax clipboard =, or to use expression syntax clipboard := "".

Cheers

Clipboard := "" at the beginning. The first ClipWait is superfluous as the ctrl+a won’t alter the clipboard.

Use SendInput instead of Send, or put SendMode Input at the top of your script.

I’ll have my hands full merging the special parameter code! (and learning Git!)

The current source is under Lexikos at present. So you don’t want me to look at merging these changes?

Re: Upcoming Ahk2Exe changes

I could give it a try maybe sometime. I haven't pushed for this, as I wasn't sure fincs believed it to be "ready" or not... What everyone's take on this? I have some free time to look at this as well. I’ve been investigating Ahk2Exe recently to get ideas for XRef so I have a little familiarity with...

Re: Cross Reference List (XRef)

Update 5 April 2019 - Now can process AHK '#Include's to produce consolidated reports. (See the updated documentation for details.) The Function Map now incorporates 'goto's. The detection of comments in AHK and DOS scripts has been greatly improved. Now handles AHK '#CommentFlag's and '#EscapeChar'...

Re: "Clipboard :=" does not always empty the clipboard immediately Topic is solved

After the Send ^v are you using ClipWait? This is needed to ensure the clipboard has been refreshed by Windows before your script continues.

Edit:- Sorry, some confusion between ^v and ^c!

Did anyone mention DebugVars by Lexikos? Quote from the write-up:- “DebugVars is a script for AutoHotkey v1.1 which allows users to view and edit variables of other scripts while they are running. It can connect to non-compiled scripts running on AutoHotkey v1.1 and v2-alpha.” Objects can also be ex...

Re: Script works in some applications but doesn't in others (windows 10) Topic is solved

Actually, Clipwait should be used instead of sleep. However, for clipwait to work correctly, you should empty the clipboard first with clipboard:="" before the send ^c.

Re: AHK Clipboard Manager code - want recommendations

Some time ago I wrote a combined clipboard manager and text reformatter called ReClip. It is very light on resources used, and you can specify the number of temporary clips to keep. You can also keep clips permanently. See my sig for the link to a fuller description.
