Re: Categorize YouTube Channel List

Code that works is not-awful by default :D Part of the code that I thought was not-good was copied from the AHK installer--not even code you wrote haha. I never looked closely at it before because I did not format it to put it all on 1 line, so I only noticed it in your fork here I think it may be p...

Re: [Library] Chrome.ahk - Automate Google Chrome using native AutoHotkey. No Selenium!

Is there any other way to connect? @GeekDude, any chance you have a beta of 2.0 you want some testing on? To be honest, I have no idea what's causing the issue you've expressed here. That said, I do have plans for a v2 but have not yet written any code. Those plans exist solely between my ear...

Re: [Library] Neutron.ahk - AutoHotkey Web GUIs on Steroids

Thank you @GeekDude. Really love your work! Do you think if it is possible to make a Neutron library (maybe in the future) that won't need IE in the window system?. I mean to make a stand-alone Neutron lib that does not depend on IE browser. Not Neutron, but later libraries that take advantage of E...

Re: [Script] CloudAHK Blocks - The drag and drop script creator

Thanks for the praise! The Fibonacci demo code is from my own testing, as it has most of the components that I need to test during ongoing development. If/when this makes it to a full release it will start with a blank slate (just the "when started" block) and any pre-written code will be available ...

Re: [Library] Chrome.ahk - Automate Google Chrome using native AutoHotkey. No Selenium!

Unfortunately true. If you mess around with the IE installation too much you can break Chrome.ahk. The websocket library it uses relies on IE/Javascript components to function, so depending on how you lock down, remove, or otherwise configure IE, your mileage may vary. If I ever make it to Chrome.ah...

Is this every UWP app, or just some of them? Do you have a specific example of an application that would be good to test with? I don't use an UWP apps other than the built in calculator.

Re: [Library] Neutron.ahk - AutoHotkey Web GUIs on Steroids

Technically, yes. However, no version prior to IE11 is supported. Nor is it recommended by Microsoft to my knowledge. I wouldn't personally put any work in to supporting anything other than IE11. And even then, soon the WebView2 control will be GA and you can ship the Edge (Chromium) RunTime instal...

Re: [Library] Chrome.ahk - Automate Google Chrome using native AutoHotkey. No Selenium!

pmobin You get empty/broken files when you download the partial source used to build the library instead of the library itself. See this post from page 1 of the thread: Make sure you're downloading the release file "Chrome.ahk_v1.0.zip" from the releases page, not the source code. As you have learn...

This may be a good opportunity to use the relatively uncommon CSS selector + which is used for selecting adjacent elements. document.querySelector("#OCity+input[type=button]").click() may work for you here.

Re: Same code, different .exe filenames, different results Topic is solved

You just need to clear the background before moving to a new range to set a background on. Also, you can reuse the same TextRange object, there's no need to create a new one every time. html = ( ; html <!doctype html> <html> <head> <meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=Edge"> </head> <body>...

Re: [Library] Neutron.ahk - AutoHotkey Web GUIs on Steroids

Hey G33k, Is there a way within Neutron to add callbacks to AHK when you are dynamically building the html page elements? I'm creating tables dynamically, and then attaching click handlers to the rows. So - im adding the table to the doc - then calling a JS function to attach the click handlers, an...

Re: Same code, different .exe filenames, different results Topic is solved

As you've observed, the name of the executable hosting the browser control is indeed a factor in how the control behaves. This design choice was made by Microsoft (not AHK) in a questionable attempt by Microsoft to allow users/IT to control backwards compatibility of applications with browser contro...

Re: Notepad and UTF-8

AHK Studio is very intimidating to new users, so I'm not sure I could recommend its addition to the standard install. I could see S4AHK being bundled with AHK, or a much simpler editor like my CQT (which is also written in AHK). CQT would be very easy to bundle as it contains no outside dependencies...

Re: [Script] CloudAHK in a Bottle - Build AHK with Scratch!

New landing page built for the site, and a handful of new blocks have been added since I first posted this here. Additionally, the layout of the editor itself has been tweaked a little. Utility functions like load/save have been moved to a menu bar at the top of the page/window instead of having the...

Re: Socket.ahk

I think the problem may be partially because you have the[] and () reversed in your code.

Code: Select all

Verbindung.Connect[("mail.gmx.net", 25)]
should be

Code: Select all

Verbindung.Connect(["mail.gmx.net", 25])
Please let me know if switching those around resolves your issue or if there are still problems
