Re: Visual Studio Code Support

An alternative to Code Runner to run ahk-files from within VSCode, might be using Tasks . To get this running, do the following: Create a subfolder named .vscode within your working directory Create a file named tasks.json within folder .vscode Put the following contents into tasks.json { // See htt...

The download link from OP leads to an error ... "Error (404) - We can't find the page you're looking for." (https://bit.ly/2nmi8Id -> https://www.dropbox.com/s/dl/ast2uf4e7uzrxg9/XRef.zip)

You should consider, hosting it on github (or similar)

Re: [a100 ... a103] Why does "Error: No object to invoke" occur here? Topic is solved

@swagfag , @aseiot : Thanks

That was it ... silly me :headwall:  : I used a variable named json at several places - and used a class named "JSON" as well

#warn classoverwrite showed me this... Renaming the variables solved the problem :bravo:

Re: [a100 ... a103] Why does "Error: No object to invoke" occur here? Topic is solved

The error message means that you tried to invoke a string or number, and the operation was not handled by the default base object. That is, obj2 := JSON.Load(x) attempts to invoke JSON , which is not an object . There is no object. Just to understand: Why is the first call obj := JSON.Load(...

Why does "Error: No object to invoke" occur here? Topic is solved

What does the error message " Error: No object to invoke ." mean exactly? When does it occur? I've got the following code sequence (excerpt), where the error " Error: No object to invoke. " occurs - but I cannot figure out, why this happens... Using latest AHK2 (a100 to a103) settings := A_ScriptDir...

Re: [Request]: Official Library & Wrapper

If it isn't a AHK authored solution I'm not using it :-) not going install a node app (yuck) or chocolatey (double yuck) for what is essentially a simple "download and copy to folder" script. It is not the managing script but how to organise/setup the library portal what matters - the rest is fairl...

COM Interfaces with AutoHotkey

Found a nice tutorial: COM Interfaces with AutoHotkey by maul-esel

Unless I haven't tested, whether everything is still working, it's a nice ad comprehensive introduction.

Re: jq - JSON command line processor

:D I tried this one, but in the end kczx3 came up with a wotking native AHK2 solution, which I preferred (might be done with jq as well, but I was to lazy to learn the query syntax in detail and to write a wrapper :D )

Re: Level-up your AutoHotkey coding by using AHK Studio!

@joe glines: Some More typos in your list "AHK Studio Walk-Thrus" * unintentional linebreaks (items 2 and 3 / items 4 and 5) * erroneous Url in item 4/5 -------------- Studio will not run using v2. You can create a syntax XML for v2 but you would still have to run it with 1.1 at this time. Thx for y...

Re: [Looking for] JSON-Library for AHK V2-a100 Topic is solved

Hmmm - I also made update and PR for V2 some times ago ... https://github.com/cocobelgica/AutoHotkey-JSON/pull/13

But I failed to get it running with AHK V2 a100 - maybe the mistake is on my side.

@kczx3 - would be nice if you could post your version.

[Looking for] JSON-Library for AHK V2-a100 Topic is solved

Does anybody have a working JSON-Library (esp. serializing/deserialize AHK objects to/from JSON) for most recent AHK V2? (AHK V2-a100) I used to use https://github.com/cocobelgica/AutoHotkey-JSON but failed to upgrade to the latest syntax changes in AHK V2 - so this one doesn't work for me anymore. ...

Can you provide something reproducable?
It's deeply embedded in my class hierarchy currently - I've got to isolate the problem. I'll give it a try as soon as I've got some spare time .... :?
