Right but why does it only happen in 32 bit versions. Load library itself is 32bit. Why would it work fine in the64bit ahk.

I am having a little difficulty that i just dont understand

if i dont use the unicode 64bit ahk i get last error 193

your question demonstrates a very serious misunderstanding of DLL.
DLL are just resources for an executable.
you can call functions from a dll with the dllcall ahk function or with rundll32.exe
