I just call this once when the user closes the window containing the XGraph
Why not call XGraph_Detach() in GuiClose routine?

Re: ActiveX : How to evaluate Javascript?

Found the problem. A silly mistake. :(
My gui is named PIPR.
When calling from a non-gui thread, I have to set my GUI as default, like:

Code: Select all

Gui PIPR: Default ; without this line, SB_SetText() will default to Gui 1:
SB_SetText( w "x" H, 3)

Re: ActiveX : How to evaluate Javascript?

It's weird that it's not working for you. Sadly yes. And to say the truth I don't understand that much what you do in your alternative attempt. I'm just passing the W x H by using postmessage to my script which will handle it with a handler function. Since I can't use any of the message numbers lis...

Re: ActiveX : How to evaluate Javascript?

I've made this improvised script to try to explain it: I highly appreciate the help. I think the key part to make things work is declaring the function before it's called. I checked, I've been doing correctly. Also from ahk's point of view not forgetting to list your gui globals. Yes. I've been abl...

Re: ActiveX : How to evaluate Javascript?

EDIT: Also you can also take advantage of that for an opposite. Ax.document.window.myfunc := Func("myfunc") And you'll be able to call that ahk function from the ActiveX like <script>myfunc();</script> Awesome! Many thanks. What kind of functionality does myfunc() provide. Is it a functio...

Re: ActiveX : How to evaluate Javascript?

There's one thing that I've been doing... That it's kinda ugly... Why is it ugly? The following works and is fantastic: wb.document.window.btoa("<svg width='1' height='1'></svg>") ; Create 1x1 transparent image I've been using the following base64 encoded 1x1 transparent GIF, googled from the web. ...

Re: ActiveX : How to evaluate Javascript?

Then how about adding hidden buttons or links that trigger js code? You can then click them using the DOM. That would be a good hack in normal situation.. But I will be replacing the <body> often. Actually the solution I've posted above works well except that mozilla cautions that it is a deprecate...

Re: ActiveX : How to evaluate Javascript?

Dear nnnik

I did try the exact example you've given and it works. For anything else, a search engine results appear :D
BTW, I'm trying to create a image viewer using only document.write as wb.navigate will produce navigating sound, I suppose.

I have all 4 os in my desktop.
I booted into them one by one - generated individual lists - and then merged them into a single nested object
and printed this list with Format() command
