Re: autohotkey.com randomly opening in browser when using wacom tablet

@swagfag too many questions that aren't helping the user I think. @wmyers no doubt you copied a standard example script from (long ago) somewhere. That script includes two hotkeys as described in the script, see SAMPLE HOTKEYS section of the 'code' you posted. If you don't want autohotkey.com to ope...

Re: DPI() - writing friendlier DPI-Aware AutoHotkey GUIs

I think this is ingenious, but I'm confused about how you use it. If I'm reading your posts correctly, you use DPI() to increase the scaling that's already done by +DPIScale. Most other programs I work with deal with text and they have the standard zoom in/out options for the text and decent button...

Re: [lib] CSV - AutoHotkey library for working with CSV Files

Now sure why it doesn't show the entire row for you, my guess there is something in that row that is "incorrect" - if you have a sample file / row you can share feel free to post perhaps it can be replicated. The test script below works for CSV_ReadRow() so it should work. It also shows how you can ...

Re: AHK not interacting with MobileSheets Topic is solved

I don't know the program, but you can try to check the ErrorLevel https://www.autohotkey.com/docs/commands/ControlFocus.htm#Error_Handling https://www.autohotkey.com/docs/commands/ControlSend.htm#Error_Handling UWP programs are not "standard" windows programs so perhaps try different things: 1. Run ...

Re: I need help with adding a delay to the output of my scripts

You could try to use the clipboard to paste your hotstring vs sending it - if that works you can try clip() to make it easier to manage - see https://www.autohotkey.com/boards/viewtopic.php?t=62156

Re: [lib] CSV - AutoHotkey library for working with CSV Files

If the text I'm looking for is available in more than one line, can I get it all? CSV_MatchRow () Returns only one line. Perhaps like so, not very elegant but should work OK for small(er) csv files. If you have very large files it will probably be too slow to be very useful. FileDelete, TestCSVFile...

Re: Can you perform a math function on a RegExReplace backreference before replacing?

Just for fun and only somewhat related my function from Feb 2011: RegExReplaceInc() @ https://github.com/hi5/RegExReplaceInc/ Function to add incremental numbers or strings to your replacement text during a RegExReplace. This function is inspired on the \i option from the "Find and Replace" of text ...

Re: [lib] CSV - AutoHotkey library for working with CSV Files

I think it works correctly, but because you are modifying the rows it is actually skipping rows, say it finds row 3, it deletes row 3, so row 4 is now actually row 3, but the next loop it will look at row 4 (which was row 5) so it doesn't check row 4. Anyway, you're probably better off by building a...

Re: Dynamic GUI numbers

Rewriting might be a little too much, but why not simply make it easy on yourself and simply launch another instance of the same script, that way everything keeps working, you only need to add one line: Run %A_ScriptFullPath% - so your ListFiles label would look like this (I also added a Return ) Li...

Re: Disabling copy paste (including right click) Topic is solved

Are you using "#If WinActive()" or are you using "#IfWinActive" - there is a difference and the "#If" might be lagging while it is evaluating the expression, "#IfWinActive" would be preferred. Also post code (how you disabled the mouse/^c) :)

Re: Dynamic GUI numbers

You can replace checkavailabledriveletters() with https://www.autohotkey.com/docs/commands/DriveGet.htm :) Just as a demo, there are probably more elegant ways to go about it - using a function here as it is easy to call, but you can just as easily make it a label and Gosub, NewGui if you prefer. Ne...

Re: Beginner Requesting Feedback on NX UniGraphics Export Program

If it works, it works. But there is always room for improvement :-) Study the Auto-Exec section of the docs, you don't have to recreate the Gui each time in the loop I think. Use Button and Labels and not Keywait to process Gui data. There is a difference between #IfWin directives and IfWin commands...

Re: My code is a mess - i need help

The "trick" might be refactoring your code step by step. As soon as you notice you start to repeat code, think about: * Can I make this a Global label to Gosub and return to/from. 10 x 5 lines = 50 lines, 1 x 5 lines + 10 Gosubs = 15 lines total vs 50. * Better might be to create a function. Example...

Re: Upcoming Ahk2Exe Changes (2019)

More ideas: Replace the DDL for the BIN with a multi-select listbox or listview so you can select multiple bins and compile, that way you can compile 32 and 64 bit at the same time or multiple bins if you add more. Non-functional GUI below. I chose listview as it allows for more information using mu...

Re: Upcoming Ahk2Exe Changes (2019)

Just a thought: 1) for those who compile often it might be tedious to open the Gui, select files and options so why not add a "save as" option which will simple generate a script so you can run it with the cli options. (patch for ahk2exe.ahk below) 2) perhaps the /cp option should be added to the GU...
