My guess is it probably has something to do with CloudFlare's TLS version being too high or their certificate not well known. I tried setting whr to ignore SSL error using whr.Option[4] := 0x3300 , but doesn't seem to work. Switching to Msxml2.XMLHTTP does work. Makes sense to me... Thanks sharing ...

Not sure, I don't believe any of us have recently made any changes. I know these are possible as I've experienced some of these situations, if not similar ones, over the years.
That said, I haven't experience any issues recently...
