Re: Griffin Powermate (USB) AHKHID script

Hm, is it the USB version or Bluetooth?
Do you have the driver installed? I'm not 100% sure but it could be, that it behaves like a mouse, when the driver is loaded.

Re: Griffin Powermate (USB) AHKHID script

That's a good question. To find out what codes are sent, I used this script. I'm not really sure, if these are scan codes. They looked strange to me :P SetWorkingDir %A_ScriptDir% #include ahkhid.ahk Gui,Add,Text,,Click and hold additional mouse button with this window active`nTake notice of numbers...

Re: Griffin Powermate (USB) AHKHID script

Hey Xtra,

I'm indeed using the USB version of the Powermate. Unfortunately, I cannot say, if this will work with the bluetooth version.
However, you can try it first. Maybe it does work. And if not, there are ways to get this working ;)

That's the AHKHID.ahk I'm using:

Griffin Powermate (USB) AHKHID script

Here's my script to control the Griffin Powermate. This enables you to get rid of the official (unsupported) Powermate software. Per default, only left and right turn are assigned (mousewheel up and down), but you can easily add the other functions as well (button press, button press + turn left, bu...

SOLVED: AHKHID and Griffin Powermate

Hey all, trying to get the Griffin Powermate working with AHKHID, but this is really a hell of a job. I think I got the most important bits already together: Screenshot 2018-06-15 00.47.11.png But I have no idea how to get along here. One of the function I want to assign is the 000001006F1000 (turni...

Re: AHKHID - possible to trigger RawInput?

It worked! First you need to "install" the G-max library, but this process is straight forward: http://www.g15-applets.de/g-max--ultimate-extension-bundle-t9653.html And then you use this script here and put it in the LUA script page of the Logitech Gaming Software. When you press the right control ...

Re: AHKHID - possible to trigger RawInput?

I have looked into LUA, but Logitech limits the assignment of the M-Keys to the G-Keys. Which makes sense in some way, but you lose one or more G-Keys. But I found a thread on a German Gaming Keyboard forum. Apparently a guy extended the LUA script and added many more possibilities. I will check tha...

Re: AHKHID - possible to trigger RawInput?

Aha! I see, I was completely unaware of this. Well, I would love to be able to trigger the M-Switches (M1, M2, M3). They provide 3 layers of 18 G-Keys. It would be handy to map these M-Switches to a mouse button, to quickly change the layer of the G-Keys. But I guess this function has been hardcoded...

AHKHID - possible to trigger RawInput?

Hey all,

I captured some special keys (G-Keys) from my Logitech keyboard with AHKHID.
Is it now possible to trigger these keys like (fake code):

Code: Select all

SendInput, {G-Key12}
Or can I only assign commands to these G-Keys like (fake code):

Code: Select all

G-Key12::
SendInput, {SPACE}

Re: Actions based on which window has focus Topic is solved

DUDE, you rock!!!! I Just tried that and it works perfectly! Let me paste my final code, so everyone else can make use of it: ;Routine to send a single middle C note by using the midiOutShortMsg function. ;Note that the timing of the note-off command cannot be precisely controlled using this method ...

Okay, so when Musik.ahk works right off the bat, I'll get my head around it!! I'm just happy when it works in the end :D

I'll look into the Musik.ahk, thanks!

Re: Actions based on which window has focus Topic is solved

I don't mind it at all, I'm completely lost to be honest :D That's my script: #Include Midi Functions.ahk SetBatchLines, -1 ;Open the Windows midi API dll hModule := OpenMidiAPI() ;pause ;Open the midi port h_midiout := midiOutOpen(18) ;pause ;--------------------------------------------------------...

Re: Actions based on which window has focus Topic is solved

Aaaaawesome, I really thought the problem is on my side. This worked! Thank you so much :D

I just noticed that the MIDI send function also uses a DLLCall. I incorporated the code with the script
and the MIDI port cannot be opened. Is it possible that 2 DllCalls will interfere?

Re: Actions based on which window has focus Topic is solved

Damn, I think I have a problem here. "Title" is always empty, there is no string saved in the variable.
I even put DetectHiddenWindows, On. But nothing, the string stays empty.

Re: Actions based on which window has focus Topic is solved

@wolf_II I was trying it with your code, since a shell hook seems more appropriate. The script will run 24/7 in the background. The ToolTip is only shown 2 seconds, so there will be no problem with sending the MIDI message over and over again, I think :D But is it possible to use WinGetTitle instead...

Re: Actions based on which window has focus Topic is solved

The 3 apps were only a simple example. What I'm actually doing is sending MIDI messages based on the activated window of my MIDI Sequencer Cubase. I'm now trying to extend this. I don't want to have the MIDI message sent everytime the window stays the same, I only want to have the message sent, when...

Re: Actions based on which window has focus Topic is solved

Hey all, gonna try that Rohwedder, thanks! wolf_II: unfortunately the script doesn't work for me. I replaced the Title with "WinRAR" to check if it works, but no luck. Running WIndows 8.1 x64 with AHK 1.1.24.04 EDIT: ah I saw you added the code, but this doesn't work either for me. Let me update AHK...

Actions based on which window has focus Topic is solved

Hey all, I've been digging all night thru the forums and found a lot of hints but couldn't really find a solution. I want to execute commands based on the activated window. As a simple example: let's say I have 3 windows: notepad, calc and firefox. When I switch to notepad a message box appears "Let...
