Re: My Basic Script

Pro tip: want more 'customers'? You should tell people what it does. Only a couple people (you and friend) know what it does and why someone might want it. People don't like downloading and running unknown programs Same goes for this topics title. "My Basic Script" is not very informative as to what...

Re: AHK stopped working - try run as Administrator

its an FAQ on irc/discord. Lots of people are not aware of "permissions" or "level of elevation". One of the most common things we tell them to try is "run it as admin" and quite often thats the solution. if you code used to work and no longer does, try running it as admin. For those who need a visu...

may or may not be the issue:

js/COM is case-sensitive.
should be:

burque505 if you EVER touch my volume, especially set it to 100 (I keep mine around 20%. 100% is just bad for everyone), I will personally hunt you down and verbally scold you while shaking my finger viciously and then uninstall your AHK. unless it's a script specifically for volume control, NEVER ...

Re: Remap buttons on this non-joystick device

that would probably be detected as an HID, or bluetooth device, not a mouse/kb/joystick.

I'm unaware of any modern functions/classes/scripts capable of detecting those. There are a couple really old ones that /might/ still work, but as far as I know, it's a complicated task

Re: Behind the Mask [Username Lore]

I wanted a new name from what I used in high-school. Thought of 'tidbit' somehow. Later on I noticed the word is mirrorable: tid in a mirror = bit bit in a mirror = tid. it CANNOT be reversed, you'll get tibdit, which is not my username No special meaning. @boardtc
btw, this might be of interest. it's basically some super copy/paste tool, billion options and features.

I've never used it personally, but it seems fairly popular and well done.

Re: A Central Scripts repo would be great Topic is solved

Thats a lot of maintaining. a few of these have been done in the past but they all die after a few weeks/months because no one wants to run all the not-so-good scripts (no offense to anyone). Can't just add everything, otherwise it becomes bloated and useless, be the same as browsing the Forums. and...

I personally have nothing to spare, sorry :(
However, I did post on irc and discord.

You also don't have a link to anything, apart from "Thanks Tank" in your signature. I'd suggest posting that link (or ahk donation link, or other) in here

Re: DOM - getElementsByName not available.. help.. Topic is solved

see the 's' in 'Elements'? that means it returns an array, even if it's only one. you need getElementsByName("Number")[1].value or whatever number you want. it might start at 0, I keep forgetting.

Re: MultiPaste for Parsing Clipboard Paste Operations

small nitpick: instead of all the: clipboard:=replace(clipboard, ...) lines 1) save the clipboard to a variable 2) then work on that variable 3) then when you work is done, set that variable to the clipboard. ... infact you don't even need step 3. just pass it to Transaction := StrSplit(newVar, ...)...
