Re: Disabling ListView Checkboxes

Since altsubmit is used for the listview the label LV is called more often. Based an the info provided chktype identies what the check status of the elements should be. See manual on Listview regarding g label notifications (secondary) In your example the Lines 3 & 8 are hard coded into the chktype....

Re: StdOut and StdErr streams without using a file

Thank you both , I wasn’t aware of that function. I will take a look at it.

Edit: Oops: I did reply to the original function 12 years ago.... I had forgotten about it... thanks for helping me to remember. The stream version seems promising to fulfill what I’m looking for.

StdOut and StdErr streams without using a file

Is there a way to get the StdOut and StdErr streams without using a file? With the following line I capture StdOut and StrErr into a file, and read from the file. Run %A_ComSpec% /c "%A_AHKPath% /ErrorStdOut "%scriptfile%" > "%StdOutfile%" 2>&1", %WorkingDir%, Hide UseErrorLevel, PID But I would lik...

Re: Problem with Dynamic Script Function

I played around with your code, but didn't succeed. It works, but not as a temporary file in memory and delete on close. The delete on close causes the script not to be executed. With the temporary file flag the file is still created. I believe that you could also use FileAppend and FileDelete inste...

Re: Assign csv cell value to variable Topic is solved

It might be possible if you add () around csv_ReadCell(), thus

Code: Select all

%(Csv_ReadCell(......))%
.
In general i personally use your approach with %a%

Re: Problem with Dynamic Script Function

Furthermore expressions are resolved from left to right when concatenated with a comma. Hence, the closehandle() would never be executed.

Re: Problem with Dynamic Script Function

I see it in your code. But it is after the run command and I meant file.close() since there might be more things happen when a file object gets closed vs a handle gets closed.

Re: Problem with Dynamic Script Function

Just guessing: Have you tried to close the file before you run it?

Re: Fileread not working

Are both files in the same directory?
Please try also FileExist() and have it’s result being shown by msgbox.

PS: please also use the code tags

Code: Select all

like this
they can be added with the “</>” button.

Re: Is to create a Class the only solution? Topic is solved

I’ll hope I can check your code Wednesday evening.

The first if should check if the first parameter is a number

The second if should check if the line has as many parameters as there are heads.

Re: Is to create a Class the only solution? Topic is solved

I did not test it, but I think the % between return and data structure is wrong. With it, it returns the address of the data structure

Re: Is to create a Class the only solution? Topic is solved

In my opinion the regex is too complicated for what you want to achieve 1) first item is a number 2) correct amount of entries 3) assign the values I would recommend to separate the three steps. Unfortunately i’m Only on my phone. Hence I can’t show you an example code. So here is some pseudo code f...

Re: Is to create a Class the only solution? Topic is solved

You could also use an associative array in a normal array. heads := [{colname:”keyname”, colhead: “opr_operator},{colname: “ColName”, colhead:”opr_name”},...] Then you can use the for loop to go over the heads In the Order you want them And you can call them individually Heads.2.colhead would lead t...

Re: Is to create a Class the only solution? Topic is solved

I think what you are looking for is an object (aka associative array) the individual keys in this object can becalmed like object.key
Thus, identically to what you want

Re: Object not created if value is nul

Thanks for the feedback. I'm ok with it and also that it might stay this way. But I would like to add, that with "Evaluating to an empty string is the standard response to an expression evaluation error, in v1" one could argue that the value of key 2 could evaluate to an empty string thus the result...
